Tottenham Hotspur – Chelsea

1. Tottenham keep the same side that played in the UEFA Cup. Chelsea's Shevchenko is out for the fourth game in a row and Ferreira comes in at right-back. In-form Drogba starts up front.

2. Berbatov and Lennon will look to continue their good form against the champions, who need to win in order to keep the pressure up on Man United at the top of the league.

   Spurs haven't won against Chelsea for 32 league meetings. They kick off and will try and rectify that statistic.

   Keane looks sharp early on. Good work from Lennon showing he can defend as well as attack.

   Robben miscontrols. He should have done better after a poor Spurs pass.

   Ghaly does very well and gets away from Makelele, takes the shot on, but it's a woeful strike and Hilario saves easily.

   Ashley Cole being booed ruthlessly by the Spurs fans.

   Robben fires in the cross. Dawson defends well. Spurs are looking lively so far.

   Robben again looking a threat, his pace gets him into the box but is crowded out by defenders.

    Jenas is found in the box, he smashes it across the box, but there's no-one there to score.

    Chimbonda breaks down the right. But Ballack breaks it up and Dawson tries to control Robben who still gets a cross in.

    Chelsea looking to tidy up and keep possession.

    Neither side have really carved out a proper opening yet. Lampard is called up for the foul and Chimbonda is down hurt after a poor challenge from the England star.

    Chimbonda looks badly hurt, he'll have to go off.

    Essien makes room for the shot, and Chimbonda makes a startling recovery. He's back on the field.

    Great shot from Essien, but well blocked by King. Robinson will thank the stars that that didn't make it through, it was really travelling.

    Berbatov nearly intercepts, but the ball is hit out for a goal kick.

    King beats Essien in the air, Chelsea looking to get a foothold in the game but Tottenhama are doing well to keep them at bay so far.

    No offside there. Robben is through, but he takes far too long and King gets back well to make the challenge before he got the shot off.

    GOAL: Makelele scores only his second goal! And it's a scorcher! The ball breaks out from a corner and he wraps his foot round it and fires it into the back of the net. Robinson was helpless, what a goal from the midfielder!

    Spurs, and the rest of the world, have been shocked by that one! What a strike.

    Cole and Drogba link well, Dawson is penalised for handball and gets a yellow card.

    Lampard range. He lines it up, but Ballack strikes it and forces a good save from Robinson.

    Great move from Chelsea. Brilliant backheel from Robben, Ballack squares it to Lampard who forces Robinson into making a good save.

    The ball is in the net, Drogba heads it into the goal but the ref blew up. There was no foul but the goal was disallowed.

    Chelsea are purring now. Spurs need to get control of the game back.

    Jenas and Zokora have disappeared. Essien and Lampard are controlling the midfield area easily and Keane looks annoyed at the service.

    Berbatov does well, but goes down too easily and Chelsea break. Essien is nearly played in, but Spurs get it clear.

    Good ball in from Ghaly. Well claimed by Hilario, who hasn't had a lot to do so far.

    Zokora charges forward, but loses the ball. Robben would have been through again if the ball was softer.

    Chelsea are hassling Spurs all over the pitch.

    Lennon cuts inside, but his ball to Berbatov is cut out.

    GOAL: From the resulting free-kick Michael Dawson flicks the ball into the back of the net having got there ahead of John Terry.

    Spurs haven't looked like scoring, but now they're level!

    Ghaly's ball in is blocked. Keane is looking frustrated. Ballack fires a shot way over the bar.

    Keane falls over and gets a foul. Took a bit of the dive there, Mourinho won't be too happy.

    Berbatov runs at Ferreira and skips past him. He fires a shot near post and Hilario tips it past the post. A goal-mouth scramble from the corner and Terry is down injured.

    Terry jumps back to his feet, but Spurs have another corner. Hilario punches clear.

    Robben is held back and the foul is given on the half way line.

    Drogba chests it down in the box, and an overhead kick! Just wide!

    Chimbonda shows good strength against Robben. But Chelsea are still pressing the Spurs team back.

    Makelele concedes the foul on Ghaly as he hands him off. Similar position for Spurs to the goal here. Ballack is marking Dawson.

    Lennon sparks into life down the right and skins Cole. But his ball is woeful. Chelsea break and Robben is caught offside.

    Lennon does well against Cole, nutmegs him and swings the ball in. Keane steams in and heads it over the bar! What a chance!

    End to end stuff now! Lennon looks much happier on the right wing. Drogba shoots and hits Dawson, good block from the defender!

    Jenas does well after losing the ball to Ballack in the middle. He gets back to disposses Drogba.

    Chelsea pick it up and Lampard tries to link with Robben. Dawson is there again.

    Ferriera and Keane tangle as Keane brings the ball down well. Just tugs him back though and Chelsea get the foul.

    Dawson and Drogba go in for it, Robinson comes late and takes Dawson out! The defender is down injured, but looks to be ok.

    Jol is shouting the odds on the touchline, but this has been a pulsating half of football.

    Terry surges forward, and Lennon breaks with Terry stranded up field. The half is coming to a close now.

    Graham Poll books both Makelele and Cole in the ball after they didn't move back. Great ball across the box, Dawson just misses it as do they Chelsea defence.

    Ashley Cole and Lennon chase the ball and Lennon concedes the corner. Lampard swings it in. But nothing comes of it and Robinson collects.

    Drogba goes down in the box, but to his credit he doesn't claim anything.

    Ghaly goes down but the ref tells him to get up. Sloppy pass across to Keane, who can't catch up with the ball.

    Robben squares it to Ballack who miskicks the ball. Lampard follows up but Dawson blocks again.

    Chelsea still pressing Spurs all over the pitch. But Berbatov and Keane are getting more into the game. Lennon and Cole will be an interesting battle for the remainder of the game.

    GOAL: Keane does brilliantly down the left and dumps Boulharouz on his bum! Great cross and Lennon takes it inside Cole- and he slots it home!

    Quality goal from Spurs. Keane was magical and Lennon made Cole look stupid as he shot home with his left foot!

    Chelsea must be unused to going behind, but they'll have to dig deep now.

    Ghaly is booked for a foul on Essien. He elbowed him in the face, but was protesting so much as Essien struggles to get to his feet.

    Boulharouz concedes the corner. Hilario starts to come but backs off and Chelsea clear.

    Essien tries to keep possession in the middle and Ballack shows a terrible touch as he gives it away. Lennon sparks again and Drogba trips Cole up as he tries to defend.

    Dawson commits, but Zokora does well to mop up the danger. Drogba gives it away for Chelsea. They look rattled by Spurs' lead.

    Chimbonda tracks Robben back and concedes the corner. Robbie Keane is there to clear.

    Spurs are just playing long ball now, and it's coming straight back again.

    Essien hits it over the bar while trying to cross and Kalou comes on. Boulharouz comes off and the sub is subbed!

    Good position for the ball in. Drogba there defending. Wright-Phillips with a cracking long ball, but Robben can't quite get on the end of it.

    Terry is sent off! He got into it with King and Zokora as the cross came in. Terry is sat on the touchline, but he should be in the dressing room!

    Drogba gets in behind Dawson. But doesn't manage to control it, and there's a corner given!

    Ghaly loses possession and Kalou stings the palms of Robinson with a good shot!

    Berbatov falls over again, no foul. Wright-Phillips sends it too far and Robben crosses right into the hands of Robinson.

     Lampard skies it after a good build up. The game is still on a knife edge as King let Lampard through, but got back to put him off. It looks lie a corner has been given, Robben wastes it though.

     Short free-kick and Lennon concedes the corner.

     Chelsea pour forwards, but Kalou runs the ball out of play.

     Keane comes off for Defoe. Ghaly heads over to the wide area and Spurs will look to exploit Defoe's pace.

     Robben hits the post! Great effort. The defenders stood off him and he curled it onto the far post, unlucky!

     Lennon striking fear in Chelsea defenders, he runs past Cole and crosses for Defoe, who was offside. Good save by Hilario though.

     Essien controls well getting there in front of Defoe, but then blasts a shot way over the bar.

     Drogba nearly makes it through. Lennon picks it up on the right and Lampard tries a cross field pass that balloons over the line.

     Robben teases the ball in and Chimbonda gets there just ahead of Drogba. Great ball from Ghaly, Defoe through but Essien shows great speed. Hilario messes up the catch but no danger.

     Free kick to Chelsea. Out by Robinson. It's a game of pinball in the box.

     What a game. It's still so fast paced. Chelsea are charging forward, but Spurs are attacking as well.
