Reading get us started at Molineux

Reading begin well. Harper's cross is cleared to safety by Butler

Forster is penalised for handball in centre field. He protests his innocence but referee Kaye stands his ground

Blake is felled by Sidwell. It's a free-kick for Wolves 25 yards from goal in a central position. Irwin has a crack...

...but Irwin sends his shot way over the bar

Blake is fouled again, this time by Brown

Blake lays the ball off for Cameron on the edge of the box, but Hahnemann is able to clutch the ball out of the air

Hughes breaks down the left and gets a cross in. Cameron sticks out a boot and can only concede the corner

Shorey takes the corner from right and Murray comes out to claim

Kennedy wins a corner off Hughes. Kennedy takes it himself from the left and Ince wins the header...

...Ince sees his header go harmlessly wide. He looks disappointed not to have hit the target

Blake looks to be pulled to the ground by Williams on the edge of the D. He went down theatrically, which results in the referee waving play on

Chadwick's cross from the right is easily headed clear by one of his former team-mates at Manchester United, Denis Irwin

Forster has a shot from 25 yards out, but it's a daisycutter and easy for Murray

Cameron takes a shot from 30 yards which hits Williams. The ball breaks back for Miller in the D...

...so close for Miller, inches wide of the upright and the lead for the home side

Sidwell is brought down by Ince on the right flank, a chance to get the ball into the box for Reading. Harper delivers to the far post and Henderson heads back across goal...

...the ball bounces awkwardly for Chadwick, and handles in a bid to gain control and the linesman flag goes up

Ndah comes forward and tries to feed in Miller through the middle, but the former Rangers man is offside

Wolves will be ahhpy with the start they've made, even if they have found it hard to break through the Reading rearguard

Kennedy skips past Chadwick and gets to the byline, he choses to drive the ball across the six yards box but there's no orange shirt there and Reading can hack clear

Butler is late on Forster as the Reading man tried to break down the left wing. Yellow card

The game is being played at a fast pace, both sides eager for the advantage

Blake is adjudged to have pushed Harper. Free-kick

Shorey goes down the left and gets to the byline, he crosses in low, Murray can't deal with it and the ball falls to the unmarked Forster...

GOAL!!!!!

Forster took one touch before firing the ball into the roof of the net, and the visitors lead at Molineux!

Kennedy does well down the left, and finds Miller with a square ball. Miller takes on the shot but it's straight at Hahnemann

At the other end Forster tries one from 30 yards but drags it wide of Murray's right-hand post

Blake is fouled by Sidwell again, it looked very much like a dive but it's bought by the referee. It's about 35 yards out, Irwin goes for the piledriver...

...Irwin can only fire into the wall and the ball pings around the crowded box before Reading hack clear

Wolves look rattled at the moment, their defence is all over the place

Reading win a free-kick on the right and take their time over it, much to the annoyance of the home fans

Henderson delivers the ball from the left, it's poor and flies behind for a goal kick

Blake is blocked by Shorey and it's a freekick. Irwin puts it in and Wolves win a corner

Cameron takes from the right, Blake beats Hahnemann to the ball but Brown picks up the loose ball to clear

Reading break with Chadwick, Ince wins the ball with a tackle from behind but the referee says it's a foul and books Ince!

Blake get the ball in the box and shoots on the turn. His effort hits Murty and goes behind for the corner. The referee points for a goal-kick - remarkable decision!

Corner to Wolves, Kennedy floats the ball in from the left, but Lescott's control lets him down and Wolves have to build from the back again

Ince tries a shot from 20 yards, but it's way wide of the target

Henderson is penalised for a foul on Butler, and the Wolves fans give an ironic cheer

Forster's cross hits Naylor and it's a corner to the visitors. Shorey plays in a lofted ball from the right, but Kennedy is there to head away

Another corner for Reading, some pressure towards the end of the first half. It's Harper to deliver this time, Henderson flicks it on but only into the hands of Murray

Wolves manager Dave Jones will have some re-organising to do at the break, since scoring Reading have been very much on top

Corner to Wolves after good work by Ince. Kennedy's cross is headed goalwards by Butler, but it's an easy take for Hahnemann

Forster gets away from Lescott, breaks into the box but Lescott gets back brilliantly with a last ditch tackle to thwart the Reading forward

Two minutes to be added on

Sidwell takes Ince from behind, free-kick to Wolves. Irwin lifts the ball into the box but Murty wins the ball and clears

The half-time whistle goes

Nicky Forster is the hero at the moment, and Reading have a lead they probably deserve. Wolves have a lot of work to do

Wolves kick-off the second period

Kennedy wins a corner early doors. He takes it himself but Butler's header is blocked

Hughes plays the ball through to Forster, but the flag goes up for offside

Free-kick to Wolves after Williams pushed Blake in the back. It's about 23 yards out, just to the left of goal. Irwin takes but Brown heads clear with ease

Naylor feeds the ball through to Blake, he tries to turn it breaks for Cameron, but he can only fire his effort into the heels of Blake

Chadwick and Murty link up wekll, but Murty's control lets him down and Murray collects

Shorey finds Forster just in the box, he turns brilliantly, spinning his marked before firing in a shot from an angle...

...the ball flies across the face of goal and Chadwick just can't get on the end of it with his outstretched leg

Hahnemann drops the ball under pressure from Blake, it breaks for Miller on the edge of the D...

...Miller can only fire wide with Hahnemann stranded. He should have hit the target at least

Ndah shapes to shoot from 30 yards out and unleashes a thunderbolt effort...

...fantastic save from Hahnemann to push the ball around the post as it headed for the corner of the net

The referee has words with Blake and Williams due to their continuing tussle

Forster fouls Naylor but injures himself in the process and has treatment on the sidelines

Sidwell is booked for persistent fouling

Forster can't continue and he's replaced by Nathan Tyson. Forster looks a doubt for the rest of the play-off campaign

Kennedy crosses from the left, Miller gets hold of the ball but Williams puts in a strong tackle to win thwart the move

Miller shoots from the edge of the box, but Hahnemann again produces a superb save to keep Reading in front

The ball comes back in from Ndah, Kennedy flicks in back into the danger zone but it's cleared only as far as Cameron...

...Cameron's shot takes a deflection and goes behind, the Wolves players want a penalty but it's only a corner

Lescott is fouled by Henderson, free-kick

A change for Wolves as Shaun Newton is introduced for George Ndah

Blake tries to put Miller through on goal but Hahnemann comes out to claim

Williams goes down after falling awkwardly in the chase with Miller. It looks like his ankle is the problem but he's back on his feet

Henderson tries a speculative effort from distance which ends up way off target

Irwin puts the ball behind for a corner, rare breathing space for Reading. Hughes win the header from Harper's cross but can't keep it on target

Naylor's down now and needs treatment, but it doesn't look too serious

Another change for Reading as Ricky Newman comes on for Luke Chadwick

Wolves appear to be running out of steam a little

Miller loses control but the ball breaks for Ince in the box, he goes down and it looks a stick on penalty. Play on! Newton is there...

GOAL!!!!!

Newton smashed a first time shot towards goal as the rest of the Wolves players appealed for the penalty. It went in off Murty, but sub Newton will claim it

Wolves are buoyant now. Kennedy crosses from the left and Williams has to put it behind for a corner with Miller lurking

Henderson crosses from the left, it takes a deflection off Butler and crashes off the outside of the post and behind. Murray looked worried there - but the referee has given a goal-kick!

Brown makes a hash of controling the ball outside his own area and Hahnemann has to come out to hack clear

Naylor bursts forward, lays the ball off to Miller and he spins and shoots for the bottom corner...

...another fine save from the Reading keeper low down to his right. Corner

Newton floats a cross in from the right and Butler is completely unmarked six yards out...

...somehow Butler sidefoots wide of the post with the goal at his mercy. An unbelievable miss and a text boot defender's shot

Cameron square the ball to Ince, he shapes to shoot but moves forward and is tripped by Brown on the edge of the box. A great chance here for Wolves, just in the D

GOAL!!!!!

Naylor hit a powerful low drive, Hahnemann was unsighted and the ball nestled into the bottom right-hand corner of his net. Advantage Wolves!

Miller looks to have been injured in the celebrations and has to hobble off

Change for Reading as Darius Henderson goes off and Jamie Cureton replaces him

Wolves make their change now with Dean Sturridge taking the place of Kenny Miller

Blake tries a curling shot from the edge of the box which flies into the hands of Hahnemann

Naylor shoots harmlessly wide from 30 yards

Sturridge feeds in Cameron, Shorey gets back and has to concede the corner

Newton takes from the right and Reading eventually scramble the ball clear

Tyson is late on Butler and the referee will have words

Tyson is sent off for the late challenge. It didn't look that bad at all, a booking would have been enough

The stretcher is out for Butler, he looks in real pain after that ugly tackle

Wolves make a change. Paul Butler goes off on a stretcher with his hands covering his face and Ludovic Pollet replaces him

Irwin takes the free-kick and Sidwell is there to head away from danger

Reading had the better of the first half, with Nicky Forster grabbing the goal they deserved

But Wolves came back strongly in the second half and take a 2-1 lead to the Madejski on Thursday - on another day they could have had five
