1. An exciting game at Upton Park awaits today with West Ham looking to continue what has been a great season for the promoted side. Liverpool, meanwhile, have had a mixed campaign but have found a bit of form recently.

7. Stewart Downing comes in for the suspended Luis Suarez, with Jonjo Shelvey playing up front in his absence.

8. The last meeting between the two sides at Upton Park saw the Hammers win 3-1 two seasons ago. Scott Parker, Demba Ba and Carlton Cole were on the scoresheet for the home side that day, while Glen Johnson hit one in reply.

    Jarvis gets another ball in from the left into the box. Liverpool clear but only as far as Diame on the edge of the box. His shot deflects off Cole and bounces just wide of the post. Reina was beaten there.

    Jarvis has had a good start to the game for the Hammers. You feel he will be key for the home side today.

    West Ham take a quick free kick and Noble plays it to Nolan. The Hammers skipper was not expecting it but his delivery deflects off for a corner.

    Reina claims the resulting corner.

    Sterling plays an aimless pass for Liverpool that fails to pick out neither Shelvey or Gerrard.

    Diame finds Jarvis. The winger sends another ball in from the left but this time it is overhit and goes out for a goal kick.

    Johnson once again pours forward for Liverpool. He cuts into the box and finds Sterling who strikes first time but hits it wide. Should have done better.

    Johnson has been a constant threat to West Ham so far.

    Johnson races past Jarvis and into the box but Liverpool's attack soon comes to an end. He is causing his old side real problems.

    It was Gerrard who picked out Johnson there with a fine cross-field ball.

    A long ball over the top lands on the head of Cole but he can only head it straight at Reina. Should really have done better there and he knows it.

    Demel sends a ball in from the right but Agger heads clear.

    Johnson turns Cole with ease. He is having a bit of a field day at the moment.

    Gerrard tries to find Johnson down the right but just overhits the pass. The right back is clearly Liverpool's main outlet.

    The one thing I would say about Johnson is that he is playing like a midfielder at the moment so Liverpool should make sure they are not too exposed when he is forward.

    Jarvis sends a ball in from the left. Reina punches and Liverpool soon get it clear.

    West Ham are looking a little limited in their play. The rare occasion they are seeing the ball now they are sending it into the box and soon losing it.

     A great comeback from Liverpool. West Ham looked pretty comfortable in the second half until the away side grabbed two goals in the last 15 minutes to take all three points.
