Half-time: Cardiff the better for 30 minutes. Portsmouth took a long time to get into it and took their chance when Peter Enckelman erred for the second time.

Off back to the second half. No subs made. Aaron Ramsey, the young kid who could break records, will have to wait.

Ledley into it early. And wins a throw. Gavin Rae can't get to it.

Not much happening save for the ball losing its pressure.

Utaka on the attack. Johnson does well to find Mendes.

Kanu is tackled. Pompey dominating possession. They're happy to keep it. Back to James. Long kick. Diarra fouled.

Whittingham off. Should have been Hasselbaink. But Ramsey becomes the second youngest man to play in an FA Cup Final.

McNaughton smashes away. And is fouled for his troubles.

Ramsey shows nice skill and turned. Hit a nice pass but maybe his team-mates aren't on his wavelength.

Cardiff pressure. Johnson happy to pummell it away as Pompey comes under pressure.

Meanwhile Cardiff win a corner.

Ramsey took it. Thompson came in and Loevens can't direct at goal. A good chance again for the Dutchman.

Pompey attack. McNaughton looks to have cramp as he goes down in stopping it.

Nugent makes some space with a nice run. Portsmouth happy to keep it.

The Pompey Chimes ring out. And Distin goes on a cavalry charge.

And then just squeezes it wide. Best attack in some time from a conservative Pompey.

Kanu limping and Baros is about to come on for him. On comes Tricky Trev Sinclair for Gavin Rae.

Kanu takes his time to limp off. The goalscorer of course.

Sinclair gets on a run. But his cross fades into the area and James lets it loop out.

Ramsey has two chances to equalise. Scrambled away as he tries to play in his team-mates. Panic for Portsmouth turns to relief as Baros wins a corner.

Bouba Diop wins another. McNaughton is wracked by cramp and can't walk.
