  1. The first FA Cup semi-final of the weekend between Millwall and Wigan kicks off at 1715GMT.

  2. Millwall: Forde, Dunne, Shittu, Beevers, Lowry, Abdou, J.Smith, St Ledger, Henry, Keogh, C.Taylor.

  3. Subs: M.Taylor, A.Smith, Osborne, Trotter, Batt, Hulse, Tyson.

  4. Wigan: Al Habsi, Kone, Alcaraz, McCarthy, Maloney, Gomez, McManaman, Boyce, Beausejour, Figueroa, Scharner.

  5. Subs: Robles, Caldwell, Di Santo, Henriquez, McArthur, Espinoza, Stam.

  6. Liam Trotter can only make the Millwall bench after recovering from injury but James Henry has recovered from his knee problem to start. The Lions are without Martyn Woolford and Jermaine Easter who are cup-tied.

  7. Wigan have no injury problems. The only change to their side sees Ali Al-Habsi come in for Joel Robles in goal.

  8. The teams are out onto the pitch. We are just moments away from kick-off...

  9. And Wigan get this FA Cup semi-final under way.

  10. Lowry gets an early ball into the box from the left for Millwall but Keogh can only send his header wide of the target. Bright start for the Lions though.

  11. A lovely run from McManaman who tees up Gomez. The Wigan man has a go from the edge of the area but his shot canons back off a Millwall defender.

  12. A lively start to this semi-final. Both teams seem very up for it, as you would expect them to be.

  13. There are a few empty seats out there in Wembley. Wigan had to send some their allocation back after being unable to sell it all out.

  14. Boyce concedes a free-kick to Millwall. The Lions could make something of this...

  15. Henry sends it in looking for Shittu but Scharner does well to head clear the danger.

  16. Scharner this times concedes a free-kick to Millwall. Another chance for the Lions to send a ball into the box.

  17. Shittu decides to take the free-kick on and shoot from distance but he sends it well over the bar.

  18. Nice work from McManaman down the right to eventually win a corner off Taylor.

  19. Maloney sends in the corner but Shittu is there to head clear.

  20. Maloney comes forward for Wigan and plays a neat one-two with Kone but Forde is off his line quickly to smother the ball.

  21. Wigan then looking to play fast-paced football on the ground. Millwall have looked most dangerous when lumping balls forward into the box.

  22. Maloney wins another corner for Wigan...

  23. Beausejour sends it into the box but Millwall eventually get it clear.

  24. Henry has a go from distance for Millwall but his shot flies wide of Al-Habsi's post.

  25. Maloney plays in Kone with a lovely ball but Forde is off his line in a flash once again to charge the striker's shot at goal down. Wigan win a corner.

  26. Forde is down hurt after that collision with Kone.

  27. Fear not Millwall fans, he is back up on his feet.

  28. Gomes picks out Maloney on the edge of the box who shoots first time but his strike hits a sea of Millwall defenders.

  29. Wigan really starting to dominate possession now and are playing some nice football on this Wembley pitch. Millwall happy to sit back and invite them forward.

  30. McManaman with a fine shot from the edge of the box that brings out a top save from Forde. The Millwall keeper has a had a great start to this game.

  31. Scharner nearly commits suicide and plays in Keogh through on goal, but luckily for the defender the referee blows for a foul. He got away with that one.

  32. Figueroa is the next Wigan player to have a pop from outside the box but he skies his effort well over the bar.

  33. It is a wet day at Wembley. Plenty of fans are wrapped up in their rain coats.

  34. Wigan win another corner after some good work from McManaman. The youngster has impressed so far for the Latics.

  35. Millwall once again successfully defend a Wigan corner.

  36. Henry races down the right and manages to win a throw. Millwall send a few more bodies forward.

  37. Wigan gift the ball to Millwall again as a pass across the area falls to Smith. Robles comes flying out of his goal and punches the ball upfield. They need to be a lot more alert at the back the Premier League side, or they will be punished.

  39. Wigan knocking the ball around Millwall's penalty box but struggling to break them down at the minute. They win a free-kick in a dangerous position though.

  40. Maloney sends in the free-kick but Forde does well to claim the ball.

  42. Superb work from Kone as he turns two Millwall players before racing away from them and picking out Maloney with a fine pass. The Scotsman hits it first time past Forde to break the deadlock for Wigan.

  43. Wigan will be delighted to have got that goal as it means Millwall will have to come forward, leaving the Latics more space to exploit their opponents.

  44. Millwall almost reply instantly but Henry is unable to control the through ball he latches onto inside the Wigan box and Al-Habsi is there to smother.

  45. Wigan win another corner. This game is really beginning to get stretched now.

  46. Millwall fail to deal with the Wigan corner and Scharner almost makes them pay, but he struggles to get enough power on his half-volley and Forde makes a comfortable save.

  47. Millwall win their first corner of the match...

  48. Henry sends it into the box but the referee has asked him to take it again after some pushing.

  49. Henry sends it in again and Taylor rises highest but his header canons back off a Wigan defender and the Latics avert the danger.

  50. Wigan showing no signs of retreating after the goal. They are eager for a second.

  51. Beausejour latches onto a long ball over the top of the Millwall defence but once again Forde is off his line quickly to clear the danger.

  52. Millwall struggling to create many chances in open play. They have looked most dangerous from set-pieces so far today.

  53. Wigan knocking it round nicely all over the pitch at the moment. Millwall are struggling to get hold of the ball.

  54. Some nice work from Millwall as Taylor picks up the ball on the right and sends in a dangerous ball into the box. Boyce is there to volley clear the danger though.

  55. Wigan clear a Millwall corner and break through Kone. He is brought down for a free-kick, however, after a lovely turn of pace similar to that during the build-up to the goal.

  56. Wigan have been a little sloppy in the few minutes, allowing Millwall to force themselves back into this game.

  57. A Wigan corner is cleared only as far as Beausejour who sends a cross back into the box. Milwall avert the danger once again.

  58. Wigan have had 72% of possession up to now.

  59. Some nice work from Kone who tees up McManaman on the edge of the box, but the youngster sends his effort wide of the target. Unlucky.

  60. Kone latches onto a poor Millwall clearance and races towards the box. He turns and sets up Gomez who curls an effort first time, only for Forde to make a diving save and tip the ball round the post.

  61. Millwall seeing more possession now but Wigan are doing very well to harry them and get in their faces, resulting in the Championship side eventually losing the ball.

  62. Taylor plays in Keogh with a dangerous ball but the striker is unable to bring it under control. The Millwall man hangs a cross into the area but Scharner is there to head clear.

  63. One minute of injury time to be played.

  64. There goes the half-time whistle. Wigan good value for their lead, having created a number of chances. Millwall have struggled but appeared to be getting stronger as the 45 minutes progressed. A lot of work for the Championship side to do though.

  68. St. Ledger is down injured and is having to receive some treatment on the side of the pitch.

  70. McManaman bursts down the right and swings a cross into the Millwall box but it takes a deflection and Forde is able to claim it with ease.

  71. Millwall chasing this game remember. At some point in this half they are going to have to gamble a little bit and push some men forward.

  72. Gomez picks out the run of Kone with a nice ball, but Beevers is there to tackle him and concede the corner.

  73. Maloney swings in the corner but Millwall head clear. You have to say their concentration at defending set-pieces has been mostly excellent.

  74. McManaman bursts into the Millwall box and beats two players before turning them both the other way. He fires an effort at goal but the angle is just a little too tight and he sends it over the bar. Great play from the Wigan man.

  75. It is definitely Wigan who look like scoring the next goal. Millwall will be wanting to think about making some changes soon.

  76. Today's attendance is the smallest the new Wembley has ever had for an FA Cup semi-final.

  77. Keogh tries to take on McCarthy and drive his way into the box but the Wigan man stands his ground and the Latics win a goal kick.

  79. Gomez curls it into the box but Forde does well to punch it clear.

  80. Wigan starting to turn on the style again. They will be hoping to capitalise from this period and get another goal to kill the tie off.

  86. Dunne picks up the ball for Millwall on the right and sends in a dangerous low ball into the middle. Keogh is there to try and meet it but he is just unable to get a touch on it.

  87. Another chance for Millwall as Beevers gets on the end of Lowry's ball but he can only head down into the ground and over the bar.

  88. Shittu rises highest to get on the end of a Millwall corner but he sends it well over the bar.

  89. Millwall fans sense blood and are willing their team on. This is the Lions' best spell of the game. Wigan look rattled.

  90. Taylor sends a dangerous ball into the box and Scharner is forced to concede a corner.

  91. Beevers and Shittu both fail to get on the end of the corner. It soon falls to Lowry but he stabs it well over the bar.

  94. Keogh bursts forward for Millwall. His touch lets him down when the pass was on. Al-Habsi makes a hash of clearance though and Wigan have to scramble the ball to safety.

  95. It's all Millwall now. Keogh appeals for a penalty after striking the ball against Scharner's arm. Nothing given.

  96. Wigan break down the other end through Kone. He tries to pick out Gomez but the move soon comes to an end. This semi-final is really opening up now.

  97. Lovely play from McManaman down the left. He pulls the ball back to Kone in the middle of the box but the striker miskicks it and Millwall are able to get it clear.

  98. This game feels like it could go either way now. The next goal could prove to be vital.

  101. McManaman cuts in from the right and finds the run of Gomez. The midfielder takes it into his stride before shooting but can only find the side netting.

  102. McManaman has been a real threat to Millwall today. The number of times he has darted down the left-hand side before cutting back into the middle has been very impressive.

  103. Taylor hangs in a cross for Millwall but Alcaraz is there to concede the corner.

  104. St. Ledger gets on the end of the Millwall corner but Gomez is there to head off the line.

  106. Gomez picks out the run of McManaman who beats the offside trap before rounding Forde to finish home into an empty net.

  107. That must be it now for Millwall. So unlucky as the goal came against the run of play but they were left exposed at the back after piling men forward.

  108. Millwall surge forward. They are refusing to give up.

  109. Al-Habsi is forced to tip a dangerous Millwall cross around his post. The Championship club are refusing to give up.

  110. Henry sends the corner in but Al-Habsi does well to punch the ball clear of the area.

  111. Millwall fans appear to be fighting amongst themselves. Police and stewards are having to step in.

  112. Henry's ball is deflected and it nearly falls into the path of Hulse but Al-Habsi is there first to smother.

  113. Wigan fans are starting to celebrate. They are waiting on this final whistle to blow.

  114. The fighting among the Millwall fans appears to be getting worse...

  115. Kone breaks forward for Wigan down the right and cuts inside into the area before firing an effort at goal, only for Forde to deny him with his feet.

  116. Maloney does well to win a corner for his side off Hulse.

  121. And there goes the full-time whistle. Wigan are through to their first ever FA Cup final.

  122. Wigan fully deserved it in the end. There was a period where Millwall looked like finding an equaliser but ultimately the Latics were too powerful for them.

  123. Roberto Martinez's side will meet either Chelsea or Manchester City in the May 11 final. Those two meet tomorrow for the second semi-final and kick-off is at 1600GMT. You can join us then for live commentary. See you then.
