Fulham – Tottenham Hotspur

1. Afternoon all and welcome to live coverage of Fulham's clash with Totteham at Craven Cottage.

2. Unsurprisingly, Spurs are unchanged from the team that beat QPR last weekend.

3. As for Fulham, Andy Johnson is missing through injury and Damien Duff comes in for him as Fulham look to build on last week's win at Wigan.

4. Of course, Tottenham are without Harry Redknapp, who is recovering after minor heart surgery. He won't be back for around a month we are told.

5. Fulham have only lost once at home in the league this season - last time out against Everton. Spurs have won away three times already. Here they come....

   Lovely ball from Murphy to release Riise and he wins a corner.

   Sidwell gets up at the near post to win the header and Friedel beats it clear on the line!

   The ball was definitely not over the line but it was a fine save from the veteran 'keeper. Sloppy marking from the corner on Spurs' part.

    Now Duff rather bottles a challenge with Friedel as he slid out to claim a loose ball into the box.

    Kaboul lofts a ball over the top for Adebayor but he is flagged offside.

    Good move from Spurs as Van der Vaart turns and finds Assou-Ekotto - Baird cuts out the cross. Corner.

    Poor ball forward from Baird. Fulham sitting very deep.

    Dempsey goes in bravely as a cross from the right was gathered by Friedel. He's up now though. An all American clash.

    This will probably go down as an own goal but it is a great move, Adebayor wide for Walker, he pulls it back for Lennon and his cross is hammered toward goal by Bale before knocking Baird and going in.

    Fulham try to hit back immediately as King blocks Dempsey's shot.

    Now Friedel looks uncomfortable as a Riise cross comes in. He gets a touch on it to take it behind.

    Silky skills from Dembele but Duff can't get on the end of his cross.

    That goal has brought Fulham out of their shell a bit - they've been on top since the ball hit their net.

    Parker has been poleaxed by a Sidwell elbow - right in his kisser.

    Lennon fires down the right and his cross takes a nick off Riise to divert it into Schwarzer's arms.

    A nice dummy from Friedel as he lets a long ball run out of play as Duff went to chase it down.

    A bit of a pile up in the middle fot the park as Walker and Murphy clatter into a challenge before Van der Vaart is clipped. The upshot of all that is a Fulham free kick.

    Disappointing from Zamora who had a chance to hit a cross first time but chose instead to try and recycle possession - wrong move.

    Excellent cross into the box from Murphy after Dembele was fouled by Walker. Adebayor clears with a super header at the back post before a session of ping pong ends up in Friedel's arms.

    Bale tees up Lennon for a shot but Hangeland gets a leg out to block it and Schwarzer can catch the looping ball.

    After some to-ing and fro-ing it looks like that goal has now been credited to Bale by Opta.

    Dempsey beats the turf after being caught on the leg by King's studs. Nasty. Free kick 30 yards out now for Fulham.

    Oh dear, an awful effort from Zamora. Doesn't even make an attempt to get his head over the ball. Spurs fans sing: "That's why we sold him."

    A brilliant one-two between Lennon and Bale, the former twists and turns past Baird before firing low into the bottom corner with his left foot.

    Brave defending from Kaboul as he stoops to head a cross away when Dembele went in with his boot.

    Another stoppage now as Grygera goes down in agony after his knee twisted in the turf. That looked very painful.

    Grygera is now receiving oxygen so we can assume it must be painful. A half that had already been delayed by Parker's nose knock will now be delayed further. We've played 50 minutes already as Grygera finally leaves on a stretcher.

    <b>HALF TIME</b> As soon as play restarts the whistle goes and Spurs are well clear. Fulham will need something special to pull back from here, but they did do it against Man City earlier in the season don't forget.

50. It's full time at the Reebok and Bolton have beaten Stoke 5-0 at the Reebok to relieve some pressure on Owen Coyle.

    Adebayor tries a curler from the edge of the box but the ball was rather underneath his feet and Schwarzer gathers at head height on the goalline.

    Duff's deflected shot has Friedel scrambling but it loops over the top of the net. Corner.

    Fantastic save from Friedel! Hangeland gets on the corner with a powerful header and a flash of a hand from the veteran tips it over the bar.

    Now Riise gets down the left and pulls the ball across before Kaboul clears, then Zamora'a shot is deflected over the bar by the same defender.

    Good start to the half from Fulham - Tottenham in a bit of trouble at the back momentarily.

    Parker intercepts a pass and drives into the box before getting a barge from Sidwell. No penalty and Fulham come away with it.

    An unbelievable scramble in the area as Friedel saves brilliantly from Dempsey with a hand, then Kaboul handled it before a desperate srcum of players hacked at the ball until it was deflected over.

    Amazing! Now Friedel saves from Hangeland and the follow up from Dempsey is hacked off the line by MOdric! Incredible defending!

    Fulham have thrown absolutely everything at Spurs and still they can't grab a second.

    Well, Fulham have done everything but score then Tottenham have one meaningful attack and Adebayor hooks a cross to Defoe who volleys home. Game safe.

    <b>FULL TIME</b> An outstanding performance from Friedel and some heroic last-gasp defending preserves Tottenham's victory - Fulham gave everything in the second half but couldn't get the ball over the line. Spurs are fifth - level on points with Chelsea.
