2. Good afternoon all and welcome to live coverage of the west London derby between Fulham and Chelsea from Craven Cottage. The sun is shining bright so let's hope for a sizzling game eh? Sorry.

3. Fulham: Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Gera, Etuhu, Murphy, Duff, Dempsey and Zamora. Subs: Zuberbuhler, Kelly, Baird, Seol, Nevland, Kamara and Riise.

4. Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Carvalho, Terry, Ashley Cole, Mikel, Ballack, Malouda, Lampard, Drogba and Anelka. Subs: Ivanovic, Essien, Deco, Kalou, Turnbull, Sturridge and Hutchinson.

5. So, a win for Chelsea would put them joint top of the table, after Spurs beat West Ham 2-1 earlier. Ancelotti's men were impressive at Sunderland midweek, and another away win today will cap a superb start to the season for the Blues.

6. The same can be said for Fulham, after an opening day win at Portsmouth they then despatched a hairstyle in European action midweek (Amkar Perm). A win against Chelsea would constitute a brilliant start to the season for Roy Hodgson.

   Damien Duff gets an early touch against his former club. What price him to score today? Stranger things have happened...

   Early chance as Gera crosses for Dempsey and he turns Carvalho and shoots just over the bar. Then Drogba nods for Malouda and Pantsil is in to clear smartly.

    Gera is penalised as he jumps into Mikel with a foreaam showing..

    A poor Aaron Hughes clearance is hit first time by Lampard but his effort started off wide and only got wider.

    The linesman adjudges the ball had gone out for a throw as Cole zipped down the line. He's not happy, but then he has an angry face at the best of times doesn't he?

    Expect the conditions to take its toll on both sides today for it's roasting hot in the capital. Mistakes will emerge as the game wears on one feels...

    Danny Murphy clips Drogba as he made his way to the edge of the box. Great free kick chance for Chelsea.

    Ballack takes it .... badly. Over the bar by a distance.

    Konchesky swings in a cross and again Chelsea look less than convincing. Carvalho misses it and Dempsey's shot hits Cole's midriff. Shouts for a pen are waved away.

    Lampard runs a good 50 yards before choosing a poor pass for Mikel when he might have had a pop.

    Carvalho does well to clear a Pantsil ball down the line for Dempsey.

    Drogba works space for a shot but Etuhu gets himself in the way. A good, even contest so far.

    Dempsey gets round Carvalho but Terry is there to mop up solidly.

    Mikel fires in a shot from 25 yards after a Chelsea corner was cleared to his feet.

    Murphy stands one up at the far post where Zamora challenges Cech but the 'keeper claims well.

    Lovely move from Chelsea as a crisp, one touch move sees Lampard feed Cole, but he is flagged offside. Wrongly, it turns out.

    Tricky work from Malouda encourages Pantsil into a lunge and Chelsea have a free kick on the byline. A talking to for the Fulham defender.

    A messy spell of the game as the ball changes hands a few times on Fulham's box, then Anelka is penalised for a foul on Murphy.

    Etuhu is penalised for a challenge on Anelka but Hangeland clears the danger.

    Terry trundles forward and finds a shooting chance. He hits it hard but it was always rising.

    Good work from Ballack after Zamora had beaten Terry in the air. He mops up as Dempsey looked to profit.

    Terry puts Carvalho in trouble with a risky sideways ball. The Portuguese had to scurry into his own area to clear as Gera charged him down.

    Ballack bundles in on Duff and the ref thinks about it for a minute before blowing up.

    Lampard tries a fizzing crossfield ball but Malouda can't get hold of it. The game has gone a little flat.

    Bosingwa feeds Malouda but his right foot effort is high and wide.

    GOAL! Drogba!

    A great move from Chelsea. Lampard feeds Anelka, he slots it in behind Hangeland and Drogba finishes across Schwarzer.

    Lampard wins a corner after he and Anelka hunted down a loose ball in the area.

    Duff does well to nick the ball away from Carvalho and win a free kick.

    Now Duff gives away a free kick after Bosingwa knocked the ball past him.

    Lampard's ball is too long for anyone in a blue shirt. They all went near post.

    What a ball from Lamaprd. On the turn he picks a blilnd pass behind the defence for Drogba, who would have been in on goal had he not been a yard offside.

    That's half time. A relatively low key affair, apart from that one class move that lead to Chelsea's goal.

    Good start to the half from Chelsea, first Anelka is slow to get a shot off, then an excellent cross from Cole is cleared by Hangeland.

    Anelka does extremely well to run round the edge of the box then feed Drogba. He goes for the return but can't gather it under control.

    Carvalho looks uncertain as a ball comes into the box from deep. He gets a head on it, it loops over Cech who had come out too far, and lands the wrong side of the post.

    Gera wins a corner for Fulham off Cole. The home side working up a bit of pressure.

    Hangeland gets up but the ref gives a free kick against him.

    Horrible control from Gera as he looked to charge at Terry and Carvalho.

    Duff takes on a shot when he should have fed Gera, but before that Drogba spun and whacked a low shot in that Schwarzer did well to stop.

    And for those that care, England have just taken a vital wicket in the Ashes! Brad Haddin has gone! Apologies if you can't care about the true gentleman's game.

    Terry launches a long ball for Drogba and Schwarzer has to be on his toes to come out and claim.

    Mikel does well on the floor as Terry's ball breaks loose. He scoops it away from Dempsey.

    An incisive Chelsea breaks ends with a corner after Lampard fed Cole and his cross was shanked behind by Murphy.

    We're getting to the part of the game where fatigue could be a factor. Drogba wins another Chelsea corner.

    A decent cross from Carvalho after the corner was cleared to him, and though Terry got near it a little nudge from Hangeland made sure he couldn't reach it.

    Danny Murphy is limping off. He took a knock in a sliding tackle with Carvalho. chris Baird is on.

    Now Fulham win a corner as Dempsey whacks one against Cole's head. Good lad Clint.

    Lampard gets himself in the box after Drogba's neat pass but his left footed shot dribbles wide. He'll be disappointed with that.

    Poor play from Fulham, Zamora robbed Terry and fed Dempsey but he had no options and ended up playing a sloppy ball into the channel that Carvalho gobbled up.

    Drogba controls, turns and slips Anelka through. He rounds Schwarzer and makes the game safe.

    If you are wondering who Sam Hutchinson is, let me tell you; he joined the Chelsea Academy at the age of nine and has progressed through the ranks to earn a professional contract. He made his debut last season and is an England youth international too.
