Arsenal – Manchester United

1. Join us at 1245 GMT to see under-fire Arsenal come up against Fergie's United.

2. Some early team news. It looks like Sagna, Walcott and Silvestre are fit for the Gunners. Van Persie is suspended so it's Bendtner up front on his own.

3. Gary Neville comes in for United while Anderson, Carrick and Park join Ronaldo in midfield. Rooney and Berbatov up front.

4. One of the biggest matches in Arsenal's recent history. They really need a win and Fergie would love to be the man to put another nail in their title challenge coffin this season.

5. After all Wenger's talk of injuries, the Gunners are nearly at full strength. They'll miss Adebayor's physical presence up front and United may look to rough them up a bit early on. Strange that Fletcher isn't even in the squad...

6. For United, the dangerman is obviously Ronaldo and the in-form Rooney. Berbatov has got the best out of the shaven headed England star, and Fergie will look to him for goals.

7. Last year the game at the Emirates finished 2-2, while United beat the young guns 4-0 in the FA Cup. This is such a big game for Arsenal fans, a win could kick-start their season

8. United will want to keep up the pressure on Liverpool and Chelsea at the top. Only a win will do.. Kick off in 15 mins...

9. Teams are about to come out, and it looks like Diaby will be playing up front for Arsenal. Wenger will be happy his side are looking a lot healthier than 48 hours ago.

10. Seven changes for the United side. Back four is at full strength, and Rooney is there on his 99th goal. And one booking away from a suspension too.

11. Two talented sides. Some pretty tasty history. And high stakes. What more could you want from your Saturday lunchtime?

    United start by knocking it around the defence. Clichy right in on Ronaldo, very quick there from the Frenchman.

    Silvestre puts a short back pass to Almunia who goes to ground and uses his hands. Free-kick inside the box. What a mistake from the former United man.

    Free-kick inside the box. Slighly to the right. Rooney and Ronaldo are over it. Every Arsenal player is back.

    Anderson takes it. Hits the ball and it rebounds to Carrick on the edge of the box. Just past the post. Nervous start from the Gunners.

    Park tracks back well and Walcott puts a tough tackle in on Vidic. Should be some great wing play today with Walcott and Ronaldo on show.

    Clichy comes across Ronaldo and the Portuguese gets the free-kick when Diaby comes across. Rain is pouring down, so the surface is slick.

    Nasri tries to break down the left but Anderson does really well to come away with the ball.

    Another poor pass nearly puts Arsenal in trouble again with Rooney lurking. Nervous play again!

    United not letting Arsenal near the ball. Good play from Evra down the left, but he fouls Sagna and Arsenal get the free-kick. They haven't had much of the ball so far.

    Diaby linking the play well, but Fabregas has been unusually off his passing.

    Now United track back well, men behind the ball and they break up the Gunners' attack. Ronaldo on the counter attack puts the ball across the box, Park lets it go and Rooney shoots.

    Great save from Almunia, and Berbatov puts it in. But he's offside. What a break from United.

    Arsenal were cut apart there by the pace of the break. They look off the pace and Denilson brings down Anderson in the middle of the park. Guess who is over the free-kick, Ronaldo..

    Perfect position for him. 35 yards out. He's going to put his foot through it

    And does. But the ball skids wide. He should have worked the keeper in these conditions.

    Clichy charging on and links well with Nasri. The left-back fizzes the ball across the box and Bendtner is there with the header. Just over! Six inches lower and the Dane would have got that on target.

    Both sides have had chances to score thus far.

    Corner is dealt with well by Silvestre but Rooney is free on the edge of the box! Walcott let his man go, but the striker slices the shot wide.

    Great build up from Arsenal, Denilson plays a one-two and feeds Nasri who crosses. Where were the strikers? Bendtner or Diaby should have got something on it!

    Great chance to score there, but the Gunners have never been great in the air.

    Rooney flies into a tackle on Walcott and the winger breaks. He lost the ball, so went chasing it back, but there's no booking.

    Van der Saar punches the free-kick into the air and Diaby is free in the box. He shoots but it deflects wide.

    The keeper looked dodgy there, bad punch and he was lucky that the Gunners didn't do better.

    Diaby to Nasri again, he has looked impressive, but just as I say that he misplaces his pass and the ball rolls harmlessly out. Both sides look settled, so all we need is a goal now.

    Anderson using his body really well to keep possesion. He slides it for Berbatov who feeds Ronaldo, he squares it for Rooney who should score. But hits it over. What a move! Best of the match.

    Again United look so dangerous in the final third. Great passing, but they're lacking the finish.

    Diaby loses possesion when he should have played the ball over the top for Walcott. Inexperience there, otherwise the flying winger was in.

    Ronaldo now has space and takes on Clichy. His ball across the box is well held by Almunia, but there was no United attacker at the near post.

    Sagna falls over an Evra leg down near the corner flag. Arsenal have looked dangerous in the air, and Fabregas swings it in.

    GOAL! The ball flew over and was headed out by Vidic. Falls for Nasri and he hits it, deflected by Neville and into the net.

    Pretty lucky for Nasri, but he gambled on shooting into a crowded box and it went in. The game has deserved a goal, so now it might get interesting.

    Arsenal lead. And that's just what they need to settle any remaining nerves.

    United now trying to hold on to the ball. Clichy in well on Ronaldo again, he's trying not to give him any space.

    United go long, but Rooney and Park are not the biggest and won't be getting on the end of balls like those.

    Nasri breaks up a United attack, but the men in blue are back in possesion again. Such an experienced side won't worry about going a goal down.

    Fabregas controls the ball inside his own box after a Ronaldo cross. How calm was that!?

    Booking there. Gallas goes flying in and Evra gets there ahead of him. Free-kick down the left.

    Ronaldo smashes the ball across the box and Clichy has his head on it. He doesn't get enough on the clearance and the ball misses the far post by an inch.

    Arsenal break and it's three on two, but Denilson ignores Walcott. United pour back and eventually the ball breaks for Fabregas who curls a low shot just wide. Corner.

    What a game. End to end stuff and Arsenal will be glad of a few chances. United were on top since the goal.

    Sagna with an awful delivery into the box. Easily dealt with by Van der Saar.

    Clichy, Nasri and Denilson are playing well down the left. Can't leave Ronaldo alone though, so they have to be careful.

    A long ball from Carrick fails to find the target. And Wenger will be pleased United are resorting to those tactics.

    Diaby holds it up and gets away from Carrick who fouls him. Sagna goes down the right, against Berbatov, and should have done a lot better with the cross.

    Park is played through by Carrick. Great run and he has a shot which is turned wide by Almunia. Ronaldo gets onto the rebound by can't find Berbatov who was free at the back post.

    Ronaldo goes down again and he knew that wasn't a foul. Ref blows though and the winger can swing it in again.

    He fires it across the box, but no United player could get on the end of it. Well held by Almunia.

    Van der Saar slices a back pass high into the air, but United get away with it as Vidic covers.

    Both sides are slightly more cautious now. Just keeping hold of the ball when they can.

    Diaby charges forward after a ball from Bendtner. He goes down after a tackle from Carrick who was nowhere near the ball. No foul and Gallas is now being talked to by referee Webb.

    Getting tasty now. Evra is booked for a late tackle on Walcott.

    Vidic and Ferdinand don't clear the ball and it falls for Silvestre in the box. He doesn't have enough on the shot though and Van der Sar is able to hold on to it.

    Great passing from Arsenal, they're playing keep ball as Denilson and Fabregas link up.

    Park breaks up the play and goes on the run, he is slid through and now Sagna is booked for stopping his run.

    Silvestre on the charge what a run and ball across to Nasri in the box. He is muscled out by Ferdinand but the ball comes across from Silvestre and Walcott is free on the back post. His shot hits the ground and goes over! Good chance.

    Carrick beats the tackle and feeds Rooney. His ball finds Ronaldo who is onside, dancing inside the box his shot is blocked.

    Arsenal need to hold on to the ball, but they lose it again and now Berbatov IS caught offside.

    Calls for handball as Rooney tries to get the ball across the box. Walcott tries to run the ball out but is beaten by Anderson and Almunia does well to hold the Brazilian's shot.

    United push forward again. Neville this time has a shot/cross from the edge of the box. The Gunners look shaky.

    What a half! Nasri's deflected shot has been the difference, but I doubt that'll be the end of the scoring.

    Just the 18 shots in the first-half. Let's hope there's more of the same to come. Arsenal kick off.

    No changes at the half for either side. Nasri and Fabregas combine well again but overplay it and the chance is lost. Corner already.

    Ball misses everyone and Nasri picks it up with Silvestre for company. Well spread across the pitch by Denilson and the Gunners are controlling the ball well.

    GOAL! Incredible play from the Gunners. Pass, pass, pass and then Fabregas slots the ball through for Nasri who finds the net.

    Nasri rounded off a cracking move from the Gunners and now United are rattled. What a succession of passes and how they needed that second goal.

    What a chance! Oh Ronaldo. Park stands the ball up at the far post and the Portuguese winger is there... but he misses from five yards. Big miss.

    You almost expected to see the ball in the net there, how on earth did he miss and what was Clichy doing leaving him alone?

    Anderson wastes possesion there, terrible ball to Park which goes out for a goal kick.

    Fergie will be incandescent with rage. And he's pacing the touchline as Clichy goes in hard on Ronaldo. Really poor tackle and gets booked.

    Almunia punches well from Rooney's corner and he fizzes the ball back in again, well cleared.

    Four on two. Diaby is free down the left and Bendtner, Walcott and Fabregas were in the middle. Anderson gets back to clear.

    Now Van der Sar shows his fragility again. Diaby nearly made it three at the near post from the corner, the keeper didn't come quick enough.

    Ronaldo's header down nearly finds Park but Almunia gets there first. Brave goalkeeping.

    Anderson launches a shot from 25 yards, but fires it well wide.

    Arsenal are still pushing forward, they're not sitting behind the ball which is dangerous when United are on the charge.

    Rooney now has a shot, jinking inside but slices it poorly. Wenger will be happy United are shooting from distance. It actually went out for a throw.

    United are putting the pressure on and Arsenal are doing their best to soak it up. Diaby is sitting a bit further back, but it's relentless from Rooney, Berbatov and Ronaldo as they try to get back in the game.

    Great ball from Anderson to Rooney, the ball flies back to Neville who has a go, off balance. Poor decision from the defender who doesn't boast a good goal record.

    Tevez, Nani, Giggs? All on the bench, we can expect to see one soon.

    It's all been United since the second goal. Arsenal happy to survive at the moment.

    Ronaldo handles, deliberately, but doesn't get booked. Odd decision from the ref there.

    Ronaldo charges through the Arsenal defenders in the box, he could have gone down at any time and probably won himself a pen, but he didn't. Credit to the midfielder there.

    Bendtner breaks from a great Fabregas pass. He squares it and Walcott is there... miskicks though. Another good chance, but the England man was not up to it.

    Three defenders close around Ronaldo, he is the dangerman. Wonderful passing from United and the ball eventually finds Rooney's head. Well held by Almunia.

     The rain has stopped now and there's a lovely bit of sunshine out. Da Silva is coming on for Gary Neville, who looks tired.

     That'll give United more of an attacking run down the right side.

     Now Arsenal are sitting. Soaking up pressure. Diaby is charging around like a man possessed.

     Park combines really well with Evra and the cross is cushioned by Nasri in the box. He doesn't clear, but tries to pass and is dispossessed. Corner.

     Carrick now catches Almunia in the face as the goalkeeper dives at his feet. Might be a broken cheekbone there, it looks bad. Carrick is booked, but that is not the right decision, he was just going for the ball.

     The Arsenal keeper is not looking good and Fabianski is surely going to come on.

     Gallas is going round his players trying to keep the morale up. Almunia looks groggy, but he's staying on.

     Ferdinand under pressure from Nasri, but heads back well to Van der Sar. Bendtner does really well to hold the ball up after a long ball from Fabregas.

     Clichy on the charge and Arsenal break. Not quick enough though and United are back behind the ball. Intricate stuff as usual from Nasri and Fabregas and the move breaks down.

     Giggs coming on for Anderson. Strange that Park is still on the pitch.

     Walcott jinks, but leaves the ball behind him as Rafael tidies up.

     Silvestre dives in and Rooney gets away from him. Wonderful defensive header from Gallas to keep the ball away from Giggs.

     Nasri does so well, wonder strength to get away from his man. He beats Vidic and goes down. No penalty, although the defender had a handful of shirt!

     Now Walcott is breaking, but his shot is blocked. They're going for the third goal. Gallas is angry about the lack of penalty!

     Giggs can swing the ball in, Arsenal have everyone behind the ball. Berbatov gets his head on it, but easy for Almunia.

     Rafael puts it across and Berbtoc miskicks. So many chances for United and everytime Arsenal break they have the chance for the third.

     Bendtner is offside as Fabregas finds him with the ball. United bringing Rooney off, and Tevez comes on.

     Walcott is now coming off and Alex Song is coming on to add some steel to the midfield.

     Almunia looking bad, Fabianski now coming on for the final ten minutes. What a big game for Polish youngster.

     Wonderful from Sagna, he got away but Bendtner's cross is cut out by Rafael. United break and Ronaldo's ball across the ball box is too high for Tevez.

     Well broken up again by the Gunners, now they look dangerous on the counter attack. United have to push everyone forward.

     Gallas climbs well and Fabregas gets away from Ferdinand. There's Arsenal players pouring forward but Denilson's shot is saved.

     Phew, no time to draw breath. Van der Sar gets United going again.

     Rafael and Ronaldo link and charge forward. United are building play and Arsenal are sitting, trying to break it up.

     Bendtner does really well, but loses out eventually. Fabregas was there, but failed to control it.

     More passing from Arsenal and they've lost out. Good ball from Fabregas, but Vidic cuts out the run from Denilson.

     Bendtner is found by a great ball from Nasri. He runs at the defence and slices his shot over.
