Meanwhile, Emmanuel Adebayor says that he is <a href="http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1049420/adebayor-out-for-fa-cup-revenge-against-blues?cc=5739" target="_blank">out for revenge against the Blues at Wembley.</a>

Ok, so FA Cup time then. Cudicini in-goal for Spurs, Chelsea line-up with a fit John Terry and then Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou in attack. Torres is on the bench.

In the Premier League, Manchester United have beaten Aston Villa 4-0 to restore their 5 point lead at the summit.

Minute silence time then, in memory of those tragically caught-up in the Hillsborough disaster in 1989.

<b>KICK-OFF</b> at Wembley

Spurs startinh with a long-spell of possession in midfield. Everyone getting a touch.

Gallas looks to pick out Adebayor with a long-ball over the top, but John Terry is there to knock the ball clear.

Beautiful passing from Spurs, until the ball came to Assou-Ekotto who tamely gave the ball away.

Slow start to the game. Chelsea in particular looking to take their time over possession.

Modric breaks from midfield and looks to slip-in Adebayor. But, his pass is unusually overhit.

Sloppy from David Luiz. The centre-back passes into touch whilst looking for Bosingwa.

Lampard has an attempt as Drogba crosses from the right. The header is well wide in the end.

Terry charges forward from defence now. Looking to pick out someone in the middle, his ball is good but Drogba dummies the ball with no-one behind.

Terry once more showing no ill-effects from his two cracked ribs rises high to head the ball forward. Goes through to Cudicini.

Parker clatters Ramires in midfield. Drogba to take a free-kick.

Well over the bar from 35 yards from the Ivorian.

Van der Vaart is enjoying this occasion. A couple of delightful turns in the area already.

Bale crosses from the left having beaten Bosingwa. It is too deep, but reaches Lennon who cannot capitalise.

Big chance for Drogba to get a shot away in the left-channel, but the Ivorian powerhouse miscues his attempted left-foot shot.

Chelsea having the majority of the ball so far, not doing to much though

As I say that, Ashley Cole puts a good ball across the face and only Ledley King prevents Drogba having a fairly simple chance.

Van der Vaart is the latest to try his luck from range. Well over the bar though.

Drogba looks to turn and fire away a shot at the edge of the area. Well defended by Luka Modric.

Corner to Tottenham. By luck more than judgement, Scott Parker creates havoc in the area, but Ashley Cole gets across to clear.

The corner though is abysmally over-hit to the far side.

Interesting start then to this FA Cup tie. No major chances thus far.

Luiz going for a stroll forward now. What can he do?

Not much it turns out, but Tottenham fail to capitalise on the defender being out of position. Poor from Spurs so far.

Adebayor now looks to release Lennon into a foot-race with John Terry. His pass though is hit straight to the Chelsea man.

Van der Vaart lines up a curled shot into the far corner, Lampard is there to block.

Lennon then cuts in from the left and attempts to do the same as his Dutch colleague, deflected for a corner.

Ledley King looks to have got on the end of the corner, but Salomon Kalou does brilliantly to clear.

Big chance! Kalou robs Kyle Walker and the Ivorian does brilliantly to pick-out a ball to Juan Mata, but the Spaniard can't control the pass with the goal gaping.

More brave defending from Chelsea and this time it is John Obi Mikel that blocks Aaron Lennon's shot.

Tottenham having a strong ten minute spell after Chelsea had started the better of the two.

Bosingwa chips in a cross from the right to Drogba, but the Ivorian is offside.

Now Bale loops in a cross from the left and Terry can only half-clear. Kalou is there to win the ball from Aaron Lennon

Drogba rises high in the centre to head Kalou's cross towards goal, but Ledley King does brilliantly to deflect the ball behind.

Lovely ball from Ramires, using his left-foot from the right flank. No-one in the middle has gambled though.

Adebayor very close to playing in Van der Vaart for Spurs. John Terry is there to intercept

Brilliant from Lennon to evade David Luiz who initially pulled him back. Scuffs his shot across though.

What a save! John Terry does brilliantly to clear Van der Vaart's header off the line after good work from Aaron Lennon

That was a glorious chance, but Terry had got himself on the line to block.

At the other end, the ball looked like it would break for Kalou, but runs for a Chelsea corner. Nothing comes of it though.

Neither side clearly on top here. Been a 'typical' semi-final occasion.

Off the post! I say that and then they strike the post! Van der Vaart swings in a cross from deep, Adebayor leaves it and the Dutchman's cross hits the far post.

Chelsea rocking there for a moment or two, but they have a breather now as Parker fouls Drogba.

Just over the head of Drogba in the centre. One minute of added-time signalled.

It had been a dull, cagey encounter. But, that goal separates the teams at the break. Superb strike.

Tottenham in fact had started to get on-top in the game. Lennon and Van der Vaart threatening. That is what having a top striker on your side does I guess!

Poor William Gallas though - very little he could do.

Tottenham need to clear their minds then at the break. They had been the better side for a large chunk of the half. Things to build-on over the next 30 minutes.

Teams are back out for the second-period. Drogba is all smiles.

<b>SECOND HALF</b> is underway...

Danger straight-away for Spurs as they give the ball to Ramires in acres of space. Kyle Walker wins the header though, with two forwards waiting.

This time it is Lampard who launches a ball for Drogba to chase. King deals with the danger.

Fine Save! Cudicini gets down low to his left to save from Juan Mata, after good work from Drogba.

The attack is wasted by Salomon Kalou though

Brief appeals for a penalty as Modric tumbles under David Luiz's tackle. The Brazilian took the ball though.

From the corner, Drogba knocks the ball down to Gary Cahill who fires over left-footed.

Brilliant defending this time from Gallas. First cutting out Ramires' cross, then diving in bravely to block Kalou's shot.

Bale rinses Bosingwa down the left and wins a corner as Gary Cahill turns the ball behind.

First attempt at a corner cleared by Drogba. The second almost flies in, but corner once more.

Didier Drogba clears the third corner, landin awkwardly. Really putting in a shift for his side the Ivorian.
