Ahead of the second leg, <a href="http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1145507/real%27s-jose-mourinho-demands-response-against-barcelona" target="_blank">Jose Mourinho has called on his players to respond</a> after two successive losses, while our Barcelona correspondent Francesc Tomas <a href="http://soccernet.espn.go.com/blog/_/name/barcelona/id/88?cc=5739" target="_blank">has been talking up his side's chances. </a>

Team news is in and while Barcelona have exactly the same team that played in last week's first leg, Jose Mourinho has rung the changes for Real. Pepe, Marcelo, Di Maria and Higuain coming in for Albiol, Coentrao (suspended), Callejon and Benzema.

Alex Song is on the Barcelona bench for the first team and Luka Modric is among the Real Madrid substitutes.

No Carles Puyol, though. His fractured cheekbone keeps him out.

Right, kick-off is nearly upon us. It's three wins from three for Barca so far this season and zero wins from three for Real Madrid.

Higuain and Ozil get us underway at the Bernabeu. Can Real turn this one around.

Ronaldo falls awkwardly trying to latch on to a through-ball but he's quickly up and looks okay now.

Left-foot shot spooned over the bar from Higuain. Think Zidane v Bayer Leverkusen in 2002 Champions League final. But rubbish.

Messi with a driving run and I'll give you one guess who chops him down. That's right...Pepe.

Just to make it clear, it was just a bit of physicality, nothing malicious.

Alexis complaining that he was pushed in the box by Marcelo as he jumped to try to reach a Pedro cross. Referee not interested.

For those of you confused by Jordi Alba's involvement - we think Dani Alves had a problem in the warm-up. Alba is at left-back and Adriano at right-back.

Barcelona corner now, will Real show better set-piece defence than they have managed in their first few games this season?

He was slipped in on the left side of the penalty box by Marcelo and you'd expect more from Higuain in that situation. Decent stop from Valdes, but not exceptional.

Decent end-to-end opening. Barcelona of course keeping possession with ease but Real look dangerous inside the Barca half.

Straight down the other end and Alexis looked to be beyond Pepe but Ramos chases back to ensure he doesn't go any further.

Sanchez again looks pleadingly at the referee, not sure how much Ramos got of the ball but again the official shakes his head.

Di Maria sprinted past him and Mascherano capped a nightmare few minutes by bringing him down on the right wing and getting a booking.

No joy for Real Madrid from the resulting set-piece.

Real looking really hungry now, Marcelo flashes a ball across the area but none of his team-mates manage to get a touch that would have almost certainly diverted it in.

Barely had time to catch my breath, cracking game so far and after Barca had initially looked like dictating play in their customary style, the goal has filled the hosts with confidence.

That was an unbelievable flick, I'm pretty much drooling here. Granted, both Pique and then Valdes could have done better - but still. Wow.

Pepe takes down Alexis after Di Maria had tried his best to do the same moments earlier.

Barcelona struggling to brealthrough the Real Madrid defence.

No such trouble for Real Madrid - Higuain this time with another chance...

Saved again from Valdes, similar position to the earlier one.

Barca are losing the plot completely here - shocking defence. And Real have another free-kick, this time on the left wing.

Alonso to whip it in.

The ball is in the back of the net but it's been ruled out.

Can only think that was for some sort of pushing in the box. Ramos scored but the ref blew up.

They've got another free-kick on the left that alonso whips in...

Ramos gets in there again, but Valdes punches clear this time. Has the Barca keeper ever been this busy?!

So, just to clarify - Real Madrid are 4-3 up on aggregate as things stand.

Pepe and Messi collide again and this time it's the little wizard who downs the giant. Bit of a cheeky over-the-ball challenge.

Ronaldo brought down in full flight, another long ball over the top. Adriano fouls him.

Seemed like the ref had given a yellow, but it was in fact a red. And rightly so. Adriano was the last man. Shocking defending. Utterly amateurish.

Khedira volleys it straight into Valdes' chest. A foot either side and I reckon it would have been a definite goal.

So, what an action packed first half an hour - they've carried on where they left off last Thursday.

Perfect tackle from Mascherano to deny Higuain. Ronaldo fed him after a swift counter-attack but Mascherano dived in from behind and diverted it out for a corner.

I'm struggling to remember a time I've seen Real Madrid dominate a Clasico like this. They really are all over the Catalans.

Ronaldo is oozing confidence and he's just juggled the ball past the young substitute Montoya. The right-back recovered though. Lovely stuff from Ronaldo.

Iniesta trying to open up some space, he looked to have done it with Messi a few minutes ago but the Madrid defence held firm.

Iniesta this time picks the ball up on the left of the area and he fizzes a ball in. No Barca players able to get onto it though.

Arbeloa off the pitch momentarily - when the ball broke to Iniesta before it was after a mid-air collision between Casillas and his right-back. Arbeloa took a fist to the face I think.

Just frustration all round for the men in Blaugrana, I'd love to be a fly on the wall for Tito's half-time team talk.

Poor throw from Casillas allows Barca to regain possesion.

Iniesta looking Barca's best bet for a breakthrough - he's just won a corner.

But the Madrid defence holds firm, clears their lines and allows Barca to advance again.

Messi crowded off the ball. It's been a disappointing night for him so far.

Alonso concedes a free-kick in a dangerous position - about 25-30 yards out and central.

What a time to score as well, Real have been completely dominant but they will only have a one-goal lead.

Ronaldo unleashes one from 35 yards out and it's gone inches wide. Superb strike.

Marcelo releases Di Maria on the right of the area, he cuts inside and hammers an effort wide of the far post. Chances galore.

There goes the half-time whistle.

I think you might be right, I don't think I've ever seen that sort of attacking intensity from Real in a clasico under Mourinho. But will they regret not taking more of their chances?

If that Messi goal hadn't gone in - he has astonishingly had his best EVER start to a season this time around by the way - I think Barca would have been out of it. But it's finely poised now.

Barca start things off by trying to send a long ball towards Pedro. Were my eyes deceiving me? A long ball from Barca. Stunned.

Marcelo is basically playing a left winger, all through this game he has been patrolling so high up the field. He's got enough space to get away with it to be fair.

Ronaldo catches Pedro - the Real Madrid fans boo as Pedro goes down clutching his face. Looked pretty harmless but no Busquets-esque peeking through his fingers.

Some loose passing from Barcelona gave Di Maria the chance to accelerate but Mascherano - who seems to have recovered from his early blip - makes a good interception.

Cleared away but Real come straight back at Barca - fantastically arrowed diagonal from Alonso.

Comes to nothing in the end and Barca have possession back.

Higuain tries to pull the ball back for Ronaldo, but it's safely into the hands of Valdes.

It's been a bit more of a low-key start to the second period. Barca just trying to exert a bit more control, despite beign down to ten men after Adriano's first-half booking.

Ozil wins a free-kick from Iniesta's foul.

Ronaldo trying to urge his team-mates to put more pressure on the Barca defence when they're in possession. When I say urging, I obviously mean tempestuously clapping his hands together in disappointment.

Mascherano and Pique looking absolutely shattered and it's no surprise as they've been given the runaround.

Bit of role reversal at present as Real - at walking pace - are knocking the ball around from side to side.

Fear not, usual roles have now been resumed.

Brilliant save by Casillas!

Mascherano hit a long diagonal to pick out Pedro. The Spain forward watched the ball down and looked to have slotted the ball home. But Casillas stood tall and saved well.

Warm applause for Modric as he warms up.

Free-kick for Barcelona - at least 30 yards out. Messi looks like he fancies it again...

Not the same result as earlier, deflected into Casillas' arms.

Really incisive run from Pedro, brushed Ramos aside but made the angle too acute when inside the box and Casillas was able to block his cross-cum-shot from the right.

<i>Stats: It was short-lived, but Real's 2-0 lead earlier was the first time they had enjoyed a two-goal cushion in a clasico since May 2008 (17 matches ago). </i>

Iniesta dancing through a couple of challenges delightfully and Barca keeping the ball convincingly. They need a goal, though, so surely a sub is on the horizon...

Good energy from Madrid - chasing down the Catalans at every opportunity.

Incredible run from Sami Khedira - Messi-esque mazy dribbling. It ended with a toe-poked effort that was palmed away by Valdes. Would have been some goal.

Cheeky attempt from Iniesta - trying to lob Casillas from all of 40 yards. The ball drops over the bar. That also would have been some goal.

Groans of disappointment as Ozil fails to divert the ball into Ronaldo's path. He would have been pretty much clean through.

Ozil with a tired pass and I think he may be heading off soon - looking pretty fatigued.

To be fair to Higuain, Mascherano managed to get a touch on it to divert it onto the post and out for a corner.

Casillas punches clear with a big old double-fist

Real are set to win the Supercopa on away goals if Barca can't find a goal.

Ronaldo nearly made it safe but Valdes did really well to hold onto his low, left-footed shot.

Barca can't even get out of their own half at the moment.

Modric almost grabbed himself a debut goal. Benzema cut it back and the Croatian's shot from near the penalty spot was blocked.

Montoya broke clear but tried an audacious chip when bearing down on Casillas. Palmed away. Barcelona corner.

<b>Real Madrid 2-1 Barcelona</b> Jose Mourinho adds another trophy to his collection as Real win it on away goals. Really good game and a psychological boost for Los Blancos after a difficult start to the season. Vilanova must now prepare himself for the 'you're not as good as Pep' snipes.

Really good game of football and do check out the goals if you have a chance - Ronaldo's was really special (the flick to set it up, rather than the finish), while Messi's free-kick was a stunner too.
