   We're off! Sorry we're a bit late, nowt has happened and team news will follow!

   Man Utd: Van der Sar, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Carrick, Fletcher, Nani, Berbatov and Rooney. Subs: Foster, Anderson, Scholes, O'Shea, Evans, Tevez and Macheda.

   Tottenham: Gomes, Corluka, Woodgate, King, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Palacios, Jenas, Modric, Keane and Bent. Subs from: Cudicini, Hutton, Bale, Zokora, Bentley, Huddlestone and Chimbonda.

   Only highlights so far include an Aaron Lennon cross that went begging and a nice break involving Ronaldo and Nani that Modric broke up inside the area.

   Another dangerous Lennon cross finds Bent unmarked at the far post but his near post header is parried behind by Van der Sar. The corner comes to nothing.

   Just before that Ronaldo nipped the ball away from Palacios who lunged in with an horrendous looking two-footed challenge. Lucky for him he didn't make contact.

   Corluka does well to put the shackles on Rooney as a tempting cross from Nani flashed into the area.

   Corluka again denies Rooney after superb build up play from United. Berbatov turned, fed Fletcher who slid in Rooney but the Croatian got back just before the Roonatic was about to unload.

   Now Rooney has a pop on the turn from the half way line after spying Gomes a few yards off the line. The ball goes out for a throw in 15 yards from goal. Yes, a poor effort.

    Setanta's commentators seem to think the booing for Berbatov is coming from the United end. Not it isn't you ninnies - its from the Spurs section and you know it. Stop stirring.

    Nani cuts in and has a pop but it goes well wide.

    More danger at the back for United as Modric cuts into the box and crosses, Lennon then turns the ball back in but it is behind Bent and Keane.

    Van der Sar has a little wobble as he claims a free kick. The ball pops up temporarily but then he reclaims.

    Evra does well to get back and win a goal kick after Robbie Keane had released Corluka on the right.

    Berbatov goes down after a stray Jenas arm catches him. Ronaldo over the free kick...

    He hit it well enough and the ball swerved sufficently for Gomes to look like a bit of a donkey but he made the block in the end.

    The crowd howl as Ronaldo misplaces a pass to Rafael, then the right back clatters into Keane and concedes a free kick.

    Nice move from United. Ronaldo spins it wide to Nani who crosses back for his fellow Portuguese to nod wide. Berbatov was well placed behind him though.

    Nani wins another free kick in Ronaldo range. Soft award really.

    Ronaldo's free kick hits the wall and then as United rebuild, Fletcher nearly scores before Rooney pings a shot over the bar.

    Corluka crosses, Bent challenges Ferdinand, the ball breaks for him seven yards out and he makes no mistake.

    Well, well, well! There's plenty of time for United to rescue the situation, but could the title door be widening a little here?

    Astounding! A cross from Lennon, Modric free at the back post and a decent left foot finish makes it 2-0 to Spurs. Liverpool rejoice!

    Well now! Two Spurs goals in three minutes and all of a sudden the title race is wide, wide open again. What an hour of football we now have in store....

    As you can imagine, those unused to this feeling in the Red ends are not reacting well, howling in derision as Nani wafts a leg at a cross.

    Rafael comes inside and has a go but his shot is comfortable for Gomes.

    Another free kick in range for Ronaldo and Woodgate is going to get a card for bringing down the flying winger.

    Ronaldo's first effort is blocked, he hammers it goalwards from the rebound and Gomes pulls off a superb save. Corner.

    Now Rooney has a pop after the corner broke, forcing Gomes to turn the ball behind. The Brazilian 'keeper claims the second one easily though.

    Good football from United but Nani's shot is blocked when he offloads.

    Jenas goes in hard on Fletcher and earns a yellow.

    Lennon relieves some of the pressure on Spurs after winning a free kick off Nani, who has been heavily involved in the opening half.

    Corluka releases Lennon and Vidic clears his cross, then Palacios hammers a shot narrowly over the angle of post and bar.

    The first half comes to close with Spurs on the attack and they have blown the cat among the pigeons here. Manchester United have paid the price for being slack at the back. 45 minutes to get the title tilt back on track for Fergie.

    We begin again and cometh the hour cometh the man; Carlos Tevez is on for Nani.

    Darren Bent writes in agony after his knee buckled upon landing after contesting a header. He's back on his feet, only to limp off though.

    No idea if you are still getting my updates as the robot seems to be taking over but Manchester United have a lifeline after Howard Webb commits the refereeing blunder of the season by handing United a pen that never was.

    Right, I'm back on apparently. Here's what you missed, a ball from Rooney, a burst into the area from Carrick, a good parry away from goal by Gomes as he challenged the midfielder and then an inexplicable penalty award to Man Utd. Absolutely astonishing.

    Gomes got a clear touch on the ball, and it CLEARLY changes direction. Somehow, Howard Webb thought it was a penalty, Ronaldo converts and Spurs are fuming. No wonder. Its the worst decision I've seen this season, apart from maybe the Rob Styles decision. Where was that one? Oh, yeah, Old Trafford as well. Pathetic.

    Don't get me wrong, its not United fault per se. Yes, they may go looking for a penalty but who doesn't. The fact is the referee's are blinded by Manchester United love and keep pointing to the spot. Terrible.

    Anyway, since the goal United have pressed without creating a chance; Paul Scholes has come on for Fletcher and he's promptly been booked after two bad tackles in his first four minutes.

    Harry Redknapp is still fuming on the bench and now wonder. Everyone wearing white feels utterly miffed.

    Well there you go. The penalty gives United momentum and then they go and equalise, Rooney slotting into the near post after Ronaldo sent him away. Spurs' ire rockets, again.

    Old Trafford goes utterly mental as Rooney crosses to the back post and Ronaldo dives to nod United in front. An assist in their astonishing comeback must go to ref Howard Webb.

    Well, what with the robot taking over the commentary, Howard Webb handing United a non-existent penalty and the Red Devils scoring two more goals in quick succession everything has gone into meltdown here. What a game!

    Incredible! Ronaldo crosses to the back post and Rooney has enough time to take a touch and then shoot; the unfortunate Woodgate makes a half block but the ball rolls over the line as his momentum takes him over.

    Full credit to United for going goal crazy but there is no escaping the fact that their comeback was launched by one man and one man only, Howard Webb, who is off the map as a credible referee after his major rick.

    Spurs are completely shellshocked and no wonder. They have been hit by four goals in THIRTEEN minutes!

    Darren Bent cuts inside and curls one to the far post. Van der Sar is beaten, but so is the post.

    I can't wait to hear what Harry Redknapp has to say after the game. I imagine Fergie will applaud the referee for a "brave" decision.

    Gomes charges off his line to head clear a woefully shjort LEdley King back pass and Berbatov has a pop with the keeper out of his ground. Gomes gets back to save.

    A scrappy goal; Rooney crosses and Berbatov heads down, Gomes saves but then the ball flicks Assou-Ekotto and Berbatov manages to stab it in from close range through the keeper's legs.

    United's fans sing "2-0 and you f***ed it up," which only serves to incense Spurs fans further. Howard Webb will be a marked man after this one feels....

    There's a carnival atmosphere inside the ground now. This could be the result that seals their title. I winder if Howard Webb will get to lift the trophy with them at the end of the season?

    Van der Sar saves smartly from Robbie Keane. The former Liverpool man should have scored.

    Two more chances at the other end as first United nearly cap a long passing move with a finish as Rooney gets behind King but miscontrols, then a Ronaldo cross goes unmet (if that's a word) at the back post.

    Well, the Premier League may be a lot of things but its rarely dull. What a game. Goals galore, slick football and huge controversy. What the English game is all about.

    Full time and United romp on, but their comeback was started by the referee. Still, they then dispatched Spurs with a mesmerising attacking rampage.
