Liverpool – Norwich City

1. ESPNsoccernet will bring you live minute-by-minute coverage of Liverpool's meeting against Norwich, which kicks off at 1730 BST.

2. Liverpool starting XI: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique, Bellamy, Gerrard, Adam, Downing, Kuyt, Suarez.

3. Norwich starting XI: Ruddy, Naughton, R Martin, Barnett, Tierney, Bennett, Fox, B Johnson, Hoolahan, Pilkington, Morison.

4. So, it's a first Liverpool start for Craig Bellamy since May 2007 as Andy Carroll is benched again. Glen Johnson is back as Martin Kelly drops to the bench.

5. Norwich are unchanged from their 3-1 win over Swansea last week.

6. On paper this looks like a home banker, but don't forget that Norwich went to Old Trafford and should have scored at least twice. It could be closer than we all think.

7. Here come our teams...

8. A chant of 'Justice for the 96' accompanies a show of placards that spells the same thing on the Kop as Liverpool fans react to the news that the government have vowed to release all the paperwork related to the tragedy for the first time.

   KICK OFF

10. 2'

An early sniff in the box for Morison but Liverpool clear and Downing's cross is blocked. Then Johnson wins a corner.

11. 3'

Skrtel hits the bar! Adam drills his corner near post and the defender's flick beats Ruddy but not the bar.

12. 4'

Bellamy finds Enrique but his cross towards Suarez is cut out.

13. 5'

A brilliant turn from Suarez as he gets past two players and into the box but his right-footed effort flashes wide of the near post.

14. 7'

A good tackle from Leon Barnett as Suarez looks to twist in the area again and get his shot off.

15. 8'

Johnson gets to the byline on the right and slides a ball across the face but Barnett clears again.

16. 9'

Norwich really struggling to get a foothold in the game here.

17. 10'

Fantastic football from Liverpool as Adam finds Bellamy, he crosses for Suarez and his effort is turned onto the post by Ruddy before Downing fires the rebound well wide.

18. 11'

Liverpool have hit the woodwork twice in the opening ten minutes.

19. 12'

More danger for Norwich as Bellamy skips clear of the midfield and finds Downing but his shot is blocked.

20. 14'

Now an ambitious chip from Suarez flies over the bar.

21. 15'

It's only a matter of time before Liverpool score at this rate.

22. 16'

This time Downing tries an ambitious floated cross to the back post for Suarez when he might have been better off firing on goal.

23. 17'

A chance for Norwich as Hoolahan tracks down a flick on and shoots right at Reina from a tight angle.

24. 18'

Johnson's first time ball is pounced on by Suarez who swivels on the volley but fires wide.

25. 20'

A decent spell of possession for Norwich which draws some "ole's" from the away end.

26. 21'

It ended with a good cross from the right and Pilkington almost getting on the end of it. Corner.

27. 22'

Morison wins the header at the back post and Reina catches smartly in front of the top corner.

28. 23'

Now Bennett gets to a loose ball ahead of Enrique and has a pop but it is right at Reina.

29. 25'

A much more even game now. Credit to Norwich for surviving the early onslaught.

31. 28'

Adam pokes the ball through for Bellamy but the Welshman is offside when he had no need to be.

32. 29'

Kuyt is the latest to be found offside from an Adam pass and he gives the linesman what for, despite replays proving the official right.

33. 31'

Bellamy wins another corner and Kuyt's header is blocked.

34. 33'

Good battling from Suarez but Martin holds him up well, then as Liverpool regroup Tierney slides in on Downing and is booked.

35. 34'

    Adam over the free kick...

36. 35'

Adam leaves it for Downing who has two efforts, both of which are blocked.

37. 36'

Liverpool win another corner but this time Johnson nods over from Downing's delivery. The game has gone a bit flat, which suits Norwich just fine.

38. 37'

Better from Liverpool as Suarez feeds Bellamy, Ruddy comes out but Suarez grabs the loose ball and fires it across goal before Martin clears behind.

39. 39'

Another half chance for Liverpool as Adam stands up a cross for Suarez but his header lacks power and Ruddy claims.

40. 40'

A poor ball from Kuyt provokes groans from the home support.

41. 41'

An off balance Bellamy has a pop on goal but skews it well, well wide.

42. 42'

Norwich will be delighted at the scoreline as half time approaches. Yes, they have been under pressure for most of it but they are still level.

43. 43'

It might even get better for them as Hoolahan wins a corner.

44. 44'

    A hush descends on Anfield.

45. 45'

     GOAL Bellamy scores!

46. 45'

Right on half time Liverpool make their dominance pay. A long ball finds Suarez and Barnett tangling, as they fall Bellamy grabs the ball and finishes via a flick from Tierney. And that is half time.

47. That goal was perhaps harsh on Norwich who had battled hard for the opening 45 but Liverpool were by far and away the better side.

48. If you missed any of today's action then why not cast your eye over our Premier League wrap?

50. 46'

    We begin again...

51. 47'

A chance for Pilkington as Morison lays off to him. Sadly for Norwich it was right at Reina.

52. 48'

Morison to Pilkington again and the winger takes a touch anticipating a tackle but none is forthcoming from Skrtel and he ends up running the ball out of play.

53. 49'

Good run from Downing down the right and an equally good cross but Kuyt can't connect properly with the header.

54. 50'

Exquisite turn again from Suarez and a nutmeg of Barnett takes him into the area and his toe-poke is clipped by Martin and cannons back off the post.

55. 51'

Suarez has been excellent today. He's hit the post twice already.

56. 52'

Good football from Liverpool as Johnson cuts in from the right and finds Kuyt, he finds Gerrard but the cross is blocked and Stevie G was flagged anyway.

57. 54'

Suarez into the area again but he is crowded out by Martin as he tries to cross. Norwich's defenders will have nightmares about the Uruguayan after tonight.

58. 55'

Good surging run from Gerrard but a rather weak finish with his left foot as he took on Barnett.

59. 56'

Elliot Bennett is off and Grant Holt is on.

60. 57'

Good cross from Downing and Bellamy meets it at the back post but his header is weak. Not the strongest part of his game, I'm sure even he would admit.

61. 58'

Superb ball to the back post by Bellamy, Ruddy looks like he's going to come and claim it but he doesn't and Downing nearly squeezes it back to Suarez.

62. 60'

     GOAL Holt equalises!

63. 60'

A superb header from Holt as Pilkington crossed but questions have to be asked about Reina, who came and didn't get there.

64. 61'

Gerrard very nearly sneaks in to make it 2-1 seconds after the goal but Ruddy was out well.

65. 62'

Reina, Carragher AND Johnson all went up for that cross but none of them looked like getting close - Holt was alive to the situation and made sure he got there first.

66. 64'

The natives are restless now as Kuyt misplaces a pass.

67. 65'

What a save from Reina! Holt lurks at the back post for a free header and only a strong hand from Reina prevents Norwich taking the lead.

68. 66'

Suarez brings down Bellamy's cross and touches off to Downing but a great block from Tierney prevents his shot troubling the keeper.

69. 67'

Now Suarez bustles his way through on goal and shoots, forcing Ruddy to dribble the ball behind for a corner.

70. 68'

Norwich growing in self-belief after the goal. Henderson stripped and ready to come one.

71. 69'

     Bellamy makes way for Henderson.

72. 70'

Another shot on goal from Suarez who ducks inside two players. Not the most powerful but it did bounce just in front of Ruddy.

73. 71'

Hoolahan has a pop on goal after Morison caused aerial problems for Carragher and Skrtel again.

74. 72'

I forgot to mention the vigour with which culinary legend and Norwich majority shareholder Deila Smith exuded as Holt's header hit the net. Pogo-ing in the directors box she was.

75. 74'

Andy Carroll looks like he's about to head on.

76. 75'

Suarez falls over in possession of the ball but tries to keep hold of it then he launches a verbal volley at the ref when Norwich come away with it.

77. 76'

Holt has certainly changed Norwich's approach and threat level - he's giving Carragher and Skrtel a good battle.

78. 77'

Suarez again in the thick of it, he muscles Barnett off the ball and shoots from a tight angle and Ruddy gets a touch to turn it behind.

79. 78'

A huge waste for Norwich as Holt broke from the corner, his pass for Pilkington is too heavy and Reina pounces, charging out to cleear.

80. 79'

Here comes Carroll, Downing makes way, rather surprisingly. Who will supply the crosses now?

81. 80'

Liverpool break, Kuyt is greedy in shooting when he should have fed Carroll, the striker nods the looping ball to Suarez who pokes wide from seven yards out. Flag was up for the last chance anyhow.

82. 81'

Befoe that Suarez wanted another free kick, after bumping into Tierney. The referee was wise to his plea.

83. 82'

Ten shots on goal for Suarez, five on target. But no goals.

84. 83'

Morison comes forward this time, finds Pilkington but Johnson blocks his shot. Corner.

85. 84'

A palpable sense of desperation around Anfield now.

86. 85'

A brilliant run from Adam, skipping away from three players and into the box, Barnett comes across and tackles him before the players collide. Free kick given to Norwich.

87. 86'

Enrique bangs it long for Carroll but Norwich clear.

88. 87'

Two opportunitiesd for Norwich as Naughton comes forward and feeds Holt but his shot is blocked, then it comes back to Naughton but his cross is right on Skrtel's head.

89. 88'

Holt and Morison are haveing to forage for themselves now as Norwich sit in and try to secure a point.

90. 89'

Glen Johnson has a go from 30 yards but fires it high and wide.

91. 90'

     Kuyt replaced by Agger.

92. 91'

    Four minutes added....

93. 92'

Fair to say Carroll has been poor since he came on.

94. 92'

Ruddy drops a cross that was right at him under no pressure. Nervous Canaries all over the field.

95. 93'

Pilkington comes off and Andrew Crofts is on for the visitors.

96. 93'

Suarez turns in the box but Martin pokes behind for a corner.

97. 94'

Carroll nods wide from six yards! Brilliant cross from Gerrard and the big man heads just wide of the post.

98. 95'

Just time for a free kick after Caroll was bumped by Tierney and Gerrard's cross is met by a brilliant Suarez volley only for Ruddy to tip it over the bar superbly! And that is that!

99. 95'

FULL TIME A heroic save from Ruddy right at the death as Liverpool pressed hard. Carroll should have scored just before that but Holt's goal ends up cancelling out Bellamy's opener and the Canaries take a treasured point away from Anfield.
