Join us at 16.00 UK for live commentary on Chelsea v Stoke in the quarter-final of the FA Cup.

Good afternoon one and all and welcome to live coverage of the FA Cup quarter final between Chelsea and Stoke at Stamford Bridge.

Aston Villa have just powered into the semi finals, Pompey are already there, Fulham and Spurs must replay fro the right, but which one of these two can seal their place in the final four?

Chelsea: Hilario, Ivanovic, Alex, Terry, Paulo Ferreira, Malouda, Mikel, Lampard, Anelka, Drogba, Kalou. Subs: Turnbull, Joe Cole, Deco, Sturridge, Matic, Kakuta, Van Aanholt.

Stoke: Sorensen, Wilkinson, Abdoulaye Faye, Huth, Collins, Whitehead, Whelan, Delap, Sanli, Sidibe, Fuller. Subs: Simonsen, Lawrence, Kitson, Pugh, Amdy Faye, Davies, Moult.

The teams are out and we'll be underway imminently. Let's hope for a game of the quality of Villa and Reading. Yes, Stoke are involved, but we can only hope.

We're off...

An early jeer from the Stoke supporters when Terry gets the ball, followed by a cheer from the home end.

Good early pressure from Chelsea as they force two corners, the second after Drogba's cross was headign to Anelka befor Whelan intervened.

Terry launches a long ball towards Drogba but the big man is offside.

Early danger from a Delap throw as Huth flicks towards goal, Sidibe tries to get a flick on but loops it over the bar with Hilario floundering.

Mikel spins a ball forward to no-one in particular.

Anelka picks the ball up out on the right and cuts inside before unleashing a left foot shot but Sorensen is down smartly to save. Decent effort.

Danger at the other end as Fuller picks up a loose ball but drags his shot, though Sidibe went in at the far post and only a good block from Alex prevented him.

More decent football from Chelsea as Ivanovic crosses but Drogba was all over Wilkinson and the referee awards Stoke a free kick.

Stoke march down the other end and Alex is forced into a hurried clearance under pressure from Whitehead. Throw in....

Off the line! The throw in was punched by Hilario and met on the volley by Whithead and only a well placed hack from Mikel prevented a certain goal.

More pressure from Stoke, and these throw ins are causing Chelsea problems. Here comes another one.

This time Faye is penalised for a shove on Drogba. Delap's chuck-ins are going to be a big feature of the game.

Drogba is down and having medical attention. I think he'll be alright, he usually is.

There was a camera on Tony Pulis when Whitehead's shot was cleared off the line and as he went to put his hands on his head he smacked assistant Peter Reid in the face by mistake.

Great burst forward from Alex, as he eases past Whelan, but as he touches off to Kalou he was offside.

Drogba makes to shoot inside the box before cutting inside but his touch was heavy and Stoke can clear.

Ferreira crosses and Faye's clearance is a bit shaky but no-one seems to want to challenge for it in a blue shirt.

Delap's latest throw in is flat and extremely hard, but very easy to clear at the near post by Anelka.

Excellent work down the left from Malouda, who beats two players, but his cross is easy for Sorensen to claim.

Great play from Anelka, whose backhell releases Ferriera, Stoke clear but only to Ivanovic and his shot takes a deflection for a corner, which Sorensen claims at the second attempt.

Sidibe is flagged offside at the other end after Whelan's pass.

What a miss! Anelka pinched the ball from Whitehead, whose touch in the area was suicidal, but from ten yards out he misses the far post with his left footed shot. Poor.

Everton are 1-0 up on Hull in the Premier League by the way, Arteta with it, but Yakubu has just missed a penalty.

Superb tackle from Alex as Tuncay went clean through, the Turkish striker's touch was heavy and allowed the defender to get back but the challenge was well timed.

Malouda goes down after a shoulder barge from Faye but the referee is having none of it, quite rightly.

Terry breaks up an attack and then keeps going forward, he flicks on to Drogba from Anelka's cross and Chelsea win a corner.

The corner comes out to Drogba and his shot is flicked behind by Huth.

GOAL! Lampard!

The corner falls to Terry, he tees up Lampard, who smashes a low shot into the net from an angle, via a little nick from Sidibe.

Stoke go down the other end and win a corner.

Hilario, who was shaky on the first corner, gets a good punch to the second before Whelan's deep cross rolls harmlessly out of play.

A Delap throw, then a corner ends with a Chelsea free kick.

Kalou is down after a hanging, late leg from Huth. He looks alright though.

Lampard has a pop from the free kick but though it was low and hard, and beat the wall, Sorensen was right behind it.

Mikel clips whelan and Stoke have a free kick in a great area, just outside the box and pretty central.

Whelan's free kick comes to nothing and now he's coming off, to be replaced by Danny Pugh.

Looks like a hamstring for Whelan, who didn't get nearly enough credit for his part in the Aaron Ramsey affair in my opinion.

A good cross into the box by Ferriera is met by Drogba on the volley but Sorensen saves low down.

The half ends with another Delap throw that is dealt with comfortably by Chelsea. They lead, and have just shaded it. See you in 15 minutes....

We begin again...

Fuller makes an early break but is challenged by Alex, who has been very good so far, before Drogba wins a corner at the other end.

Chelsea try their own long throw in, through Ivanovic, and the ball breaks to Lampard, who blazes over on the volley.

Alex mistimes his first tackle, on Tuncay, and gives Stoke a free kick 30 yards out.

Robert huth whacks the free kick nearer to the corner flag than the net and narrowly fails to find the top tier of the stand. Pitiful effort.

Tuncay gives the ball away, then Lampard feeds Kalou and Pugh brings him down. Sounds like a nursery rhyme that: Pugh, Kalou, Barney McGrew....

Drogba smashes the free kick at goal but Sorensen is right behind it.

Everton are 3-1 up on Hull now, and the Tigers have just scored one of the best own goals you'll see this season.

Chelsea are dominant in the second half, and Stoke can't get hold of the ball at the moment.

Huth clears as Anelka looks to latch on to a Lamaprd pass.

Ivanovic lanuches another throw into the box but it was given as a foul throw.

Anelka gives himself half a yard before fizzing a low shot wide of the post.

Liam Lawrence is about to come on for Stoke.

Lawrence and Kitson come on for Tuncay and Sidibe.

Kitson's first involvement is to release Pugh but his cross is poor and Alex can tidy up.

Faye does really well to scamper across and challenge Anelka and win a goal kick.

Fuller does well to muscle Ivanovic off the ball but when Pugh returns it he knows he is offside and doesn't even chase it down.

Delap's latest throw forces Drogba into conceding a corner.

Lawrence's corner is met by Huth but under pressure from Terry he can't direct it on target.

Anelka gets down the right channel and tries to cross and though Chelsea appeal for handball as Faye blocks it hit his midriff.

Great Chelsea move as Drogba turns inside the area and stands up a beautiful cross but Wilkinson does really well to block and prevent a second goal.

Now Alex gets up from the corner and only another intervention from Wilkinson prevents a goal.

GOAL! Terry!

Terry makes a decent move in front of his marker to meet Lampard's corner and power a header into the net. He then flexes his muscles as he celebrates with the Chelsea fans in the corner. I feel rather queasy all of a sudden.

Well, that should be that for this cup tie, unless Stoke can produce two goals in 20 minutes.

Chelsea seem to have got the measure of Delap's throw in now, as Drogba heads yet another one away.

Chelsea stroking passes around calmly now. Stoke look a little lost at present.

Lampard looks like he's about to cross but instead hammers a shot to the top corner but Sorensen is equal to it.

Very poor from Fuller, who strays offside just as Delap tries to find him.

Good ball in from Lawrence but Alex rises to nod clear again. He's been excellent.

That should have been three as Chelsea break, ANelka runs at Huth, then feeds Lampard on the overlap but his first touch is rotten and his cross is then right at Sorensen.

Lawrence swings in a free kick but Faye's looping header lands on top of the net with Hilario scrambling.

Fuller looks like he's turned Alex but then the Brazilian gets a foot in. Throw in.

Hilario flapped again and Faye heads over. There was a big crowd scene in there and the centre half couldn't direct his effort.

Landon Donovan has just made it Everton 4-1 Hull with a tidy finish.

The game's first yellow card is shown to Terry for pulling Fuller's shirt.

Lawrence wins a corner and tries to take it quickly, but the ball was rolling so it is brought back.

The game is petering out, as Stoke's corner comes to nothing.

Drogba's chip is claimed by Sorensen. Blow the whistle ref.

Lampard springs Anelka through but he's wasted another great chance by sliding his shot wide.

Everton 5-1 Hull. Donovan squares for Rodwell to score.

Excellent save from Hilario as Fuller turns Terry and gets a shot off from eight yards.

Two minutes added..

Full time and the holders move into the semi finals of the FA Cup. They deserved their win. Stoke never really troubled them, even with their aerial bombardment, and the Blues are looking odds on to retain their trophy. Thanks for your comapny.
