1. Head coach Martin Jol makes four changes with Tom Huddlestone, Edgar Davids, Jermain Defoe and Mido replacing Aaron Lennon, Jermaine Jenas, Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov.

2. Robbie Savage returns to the Blackburn team ahead of schedule. The Welsh midfielder is back following a two-match absence after thinking he would be sidelined for a month with a thigh injury. Stephane Henchoz makes his league debut in his second spell for the club, and Michael Gray replaces Zurab Khizanishvili and Lucas Neill.

    That's half-time. Neither side has done much, but Tugay's goal was truely special. Spurs are looking a bit lightweight. Their resolutely non-lightweight manager Martin Jol will have to come up with something to turn this around, or it could be more away woe for the North London side.

    That's it! The ref blows his whistle. Two (three?) sendings-off, a penalty and a fantastic volleyed goal - it may not have been much of a match, but there has still been plenty to talk about.

     The ref is booed off, as is traditional. Much of the talk after this game will focus on the penalty that was given, and the one that wasn't, plus the sendings-off. For the record, Gray was probably the best player on the pitch.
