   With City having drawn at home to Hull and Arsenal and Liverpool both facing tough games tomorrow, a victory here would be a major boost for either side if they want to maintain their top-four challenge.

    Carew tries to charge down the ball as Gomes clears, but he clearly used his hand.

    Defoe has a good chance to play in Lennon down the right, but he overhits it and it's out for a goal kick.

    Kranjcar fires a fierce shot on goal after Assou-Ekotto's pass is deflected out to the edge of the area. Friedel makes a good save and it's a corner.

     It's all over. Agbonlahor gave Villa an early lead, but Spurs improved in the second half and got a deserved equaliser through Dawson. It finishes 1-1.
