Campbell gets the better of the chasing Kabba at the byeline. Goalkick to Arsenal

McCall goes down after contesting the ball with Vieira. This time ref Poll halts play

Lauren nods back to Seaman as Allison threatens. United's battling gameplan is looking a little now that they are chasing the game

Now McCall brings Wiltord down. Keown demands a second yellow card for the veteran Scot, who reacts furiously to that intervention

Keown told to cool it by the ref. Meanwhile, Edu takes aim but his left-footed curler is well wide

Vieira heads clear at the near post but McCall keeps the pressure on. In comes the cross but Keown is there to intercept

Arsenal break until Vieira is brought down by Brown's late challenge. Yellow card

The Arsenal skipper, playing with a heavily-strapped knee, hobbles off for treatment but is back on almost immediately

Brown jinks wide of Campbell's challenge before threading a perfect ball into Ndlovu's path. But the striker just side-foots it straight at Seaman. Dreadful waste

Blades maintain the pressure until Keown nods back to his goalkeeper

Now Page crunches Wiltord in midfield. Freekick to the holders

Kenny, out of his area, heads Vieira's ball clear as Wiltord and Jeffers hover

What Arsenal need at the moment is Vieira back - Gilberto struggling in the heat of this battle. Meanwhile, Montgomery races forward only to lose out under the twin challenge of Cole and Ljungberg

This time Gilberto is there to clear up after loose stuff from Edu. Blades build again though - Kabba threatens in the air before Tonge shifts it across the box for Curtis to drive. A good effort but always rising

Asaba flies into Keown, all arms and legs. Yellow card for the Blades substitute

Henry, who hasn't had a touch yet, watches an aimless long ball drift out of play

Gunners continue to press though, winning their first corner. Played short and then across to Parlour before Kozluk concedes a freekick on the far side
