2. Wigan are unchanged from the team that won at Reading last week, Liverpool bring Joe Allen in for the injured Daniel Sturridge.

3. Liverpool can reclaim seventh with a win tonight while Wigan can put four points between themselves and the relegation zone with a win.

4. Liverpool last won at the DW in 2009 but Wigan have only won two games at home this season.

5. Wigan held a meet and greet with the players today, waiting in the car park for them as they arrived. They did it at the end of last season, and it certainly worked.

    Wigan very fortunate not to go two down as Allen gets into the area, he pokes a ball for Gerrard but Figueroa cuts it out, and the loose ball trickles to safety.

    Excellent ball from Gerrard, Downing comes inside and can see the far corner but the shot is blocked.

    Now McArthur and Boyce blame each other for a mistake that nearly lets Suarez in. They start shoving and team mates have to pull them apart.

    That is an absolute calamity. Suarez takes the set piece and slips, it flicks off Maloney's head, then as Al Habsi goes to save it, he slips and can only push it onto the post and into the net. Chaos.

    Liverpool look very good when they play like this, the difference today is they've added a finishing touch to the mix.

    <b>FULL TIME</b> - well, that was a procession for Liverpool once they got into a 2-0 lead after just 18 minutes. Suarez was excellent, so were his team mates and they run out comfortable winners.
