Joseph Dalton Hooker, OM, GCSI, MD, FRS (30 Haziran 1817 – 10 Aralık 1911) İngiliz botanikçi ve kâşif. Hooker, coğrafî botaniğin kurucusu ve Charles Darwin'in yakın arkadaşlarından biridir. Babası, William J. Hooker'ın başarısına ithafen 20 yıl Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew'in yöneticiliğini yapmıştır. İngiliz biliminin en saygın onur ödüllerine lâyık görülmüştür.
