2. Everton boss David Moyes <a href="http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1376474/everton's-david-moyes-expecting-attacking-manchester-city?cc=5739" target="_blank">is expecting an attacking encounter</a> and hopes his side can continue their fine record against Roberto Mancini's men.

3. The big team news is that City will be without Yaya Toure. The club tweeted: "Yaya Toure is unwell. Nothing serious, but bad enough to keep him out, unfortunately."

4. The City team in full: Hart, Zabaleta, Kolo Toure, Nastasic, Milner, Garcia, Barry, Kolarov, Silva, Tevez, Dzeko.

5. Victor Anichebe starts in attack for Everton.

7. Everton's selection means both skipper Phil Neville and currently misfiring striker Nikica Jelavic are on the bench. Neither had good afternoons in the home FA Cup thrashing by Wigan last weekend.

    That looks like a lucky escape for City - the Everton attackers appeared to be level.

    Neat football from Baines, Mirallas and Baines gives Gibson a chance to cross. He does - not very well - but that was good stuff from Everton.
