Kabba takes on Lescott for pace, wins the race and whips in a cross which Wolves put behind.

But the corner comes to nothing for the Blades.

Great start for Wolves, and a fantastic finish from Kennedy. He found the corner, and Wolves are on course for the Premiership.

Murray comes to punch Kozluk's long throw away and then jumps over a crowd to take a second throw from the full back.

Michael Tonge brings down Cameron in the midfield - the ref has a word but there's no card.

Tonge finds Asaba on the burst. Kabba takes over, Tonge finds a blind alley and dogged Wolves defending finally gets them the ball.

Kenny makes an ill-advised dash out of his box, Nathan Blake gets his head on it and just when he thinks he has an oen goal, Jagielka gets back to get a foot in.

Brown darts through and trips over Irwin's challenge. Brown's furious that there's no free kick and he may have a point there.

Wolves get it back and Kennedy tries a cross from the right. He can only find a defneder.

Ndlovu tries a quadruple stepover - or something - and then a curler, but his shot is well wide.

Naylor opts for the long ball, but over-hits it and Kenny can claim ahead of Blake

Curtis curls in a cross, but it's a bit too high for Ndlovu, who can't control his header. the ball comes back to Kabba, who scuffs his shot and Murray holds on.

Ndlovu goes on another solo run only to be thwarted by a fine tackle from Denis Irwin

Colin Cameron bursts through the middle, jinks and shoots on his right foot - and a diving Kenny just turns it wide.

GOALLL! Wolves are 2-0 up and it's Nathan Blake with the goal which takes them to the bink of the Premiership.

It was a Kennedy corner which Paul Ince flicked on and Blake got the final touch from four yards.

Asaba wins a throw as Sheffield United try to start a monumental fightback.

Murray comes a long way and fails to claim the throw, but Sheffield United are penalised.

Kabba has a shot on the turn, which is blocked and there's no way through for Sheffield United.

Another long throw comes to nothing and then Ndlolu tries a shot which is at best ambitious and at worst rubbish.

Cameron crunches into Ndlovu, who was losing the ball and is rather relieved to get a free kick.

Kozluk's cross finds Murray flapping in no man's land - but it goes out for a goal kick.

Kabba chases a ball through, but Murray comes to claim.

Wolves are looking for another and Newton's cross is cut out by Kozluk.

Kennedy looks a threat on the left and after winning a throw, his cross is straight at Kenny.

At the other end, the quick Kabba wins a corner off Lescott.

Curtis's cross beats everyone and falls to Ndlovua at the far postm but his touch lets him down.

Bodies are lying strewn across the midfield and the game stops for treatment to both sides.

Kabba curls in a cross, Ince deflects it and Murray makes a fantastic save to prevent an own goal.

Tonge whips in the corner, Ndlovu gets his head on it but it drops wide.

Brown goes for the cross, but that's too near Murray and the keeper holds on.

Brown and Kabba try and find a way through, but Lescott is defending superbly for Wolves.

Irwin crunches into Ndlovu and it's the first booking of the game for the veteran.

Jagielka stabs in a cross, but once again, it's nearer Murray than his forwards.

GOALLL! And surely it's all over as the unmarked Miller stabs in Shaun Newton's low cross. 3-0 Wolves.

Half time, and Wolves are on their way to the Premiership after goals from Mark Kennedy, Nathan Blake and Kenny Miller in a great first half for the Black Country side.

It's all quite easy for Wolves as Shaun Newton takes the ball forward.

The determined Brown tries to make somthing happen for Sheffield United, but he's crowded out. Wolves have no need to go forward, and there's plenty back.

The tigerish Cameron tries to set up an attack but Miller can't get a shot in.

The enthusisastic Peschisolido charges across the pitch, but his efforts are to no avail as he concedes throw.

Kabba has a crack - and his shot goes off Lescott for a corner. Can Sheffield United still do it?

Almost - Kennedy handles on the line but Steve Bennett says no penalty. it was a Jagielka shot from the corner, and it should have been a penalty.

Tonge takes a free kick from 25 yards, Murray does superbly to turn it on to the post but it drops for Page eight yards out... and he blasts over an open goal

Another corner for Sheffield United - this is a good spell for them.

Butler heads away and the excellent Murray claims the second ball.

Ref Bennett gets out his yellow card again - it's Michael Tonge for a trip on Kennedy.

Tonge takes a corner which Wolves turn behind for a second.

Another corner for the Blades, and even though Murray drops it, the ball falls to a team-mate.

Page is penalised deep in his own half and Wolves have a free kick 30 yards out.

Irwin runs up to take it, but it flicks off McCall and goes wide.

The lively Sturridge makes a run to the corner flag, pulls back a cross and, though Jagielka miscues his clearance, Sheffield United survive

The Wolves fans are celebrating - they know they've won already.

Brown chips in a free kick and it goes near no one. Goal kick.

Stuart McCall flies in on his fellow Scot Cameron and fouls him. Play on, Wolves attack and it comes to nothing.

Sturridge forces a corner for Wolves. They're not sending many up in their search for a fourth.

Kennedy takes it and Nathan Blake heads over.

Lescott releases Sturridge with a great ball, he weaves in and out and is about to shoot when Kozluk robs him. Corner.

Cameron decides to waste a few seconds in the corner, though there's no real need now.

Mark Kennedy, Nathan Blake and Kenny Miller get the goals as Wolves' 19-year absence from the top flight is over and they go up while local rivals West Brom go down.

And Sheffield United, after a superb season which included two cup semi-finals, wille be in Division 1 again next year.
