4. So, are well prepared for the odd sight of Rafa being cheered by the home fans and booed by the away fans? It'll one of the odder happenings this season, no doubt about it.

5. But once that oddity is out of the way it is down to business and with Tottenham's win Chelsea can't afford to drop points here. Should they lose they'd only be ahead of Spurs courtesy of goal difference.

    A brisk start to the game - Torres flagged offside now.

    A superb, sweeping move from Liverpool, one that he started. He charges in from the right and is slipped in by Suarez but can't wrap his foot round the ball and pokes wide.

    Excellent close control from Suarez, winning a free kick off Mikel.

    Mikel clears Gerrard's delivery and then Henderson fires over the bar.

    Now Suarez nearly finds a through ball to Henderson, who is pushing forward at every opportunity.

    Liverpool neat in possession as ever, with a misplaced Reina pass the only blot.

    Coutinho tries a flick over Luiz for Suarez but over cooks it.

    Fine move from Chelsea as Hazard plays in Torres but Enrique got back to block the cross.

    Another big chorus of Rafa Benitez from Liverpool's manager. Jeered by the away end.

    A shot on target from Oscar but his toe poke lacked power. Not seen much from him yet.

    Hazard tries to slot Ramires in but the pass takes him wide and Liverpool win the goal kick.

    Enrique looks early for Suarez but Luiz had read it.

    Henderson breaks into the box and wins a corner.

    The corner is cleared back to Gerrard, he feeds Downing who cuts inside and fires over the bar.

    Carragher's back pass puts Reina under a little pressure. He controls and clears out of play.

    Good shooting chance for Ramires as Hazrd tees it up. Reina, taking no chances, punches clear.

    Henderson volleys a pass out of play way over Downing's head. The game has gone very tight.

    Just found out there has never been a 0-0 draw between these two in the Premier League. Bound to be one today then.

    Mikel bumps into Suarez, then intercepts a Downing cross so Cech can claim.

    Chelsea are looking silky here and very nearly opened Liverpool up with a slick, one-touch move but Agger got an important foot in.

    The final ball is lacking for Liverpool - Coutinho's recent passes and Lucas' just then going astray.

    Genuine chance created by Downing, cutting inside, playing in Suarez and his shot from a tight angle is beaten away by Cech.

     That is astonishing - Suarez nods the ball to Sturridge and then gets into the area and flicks past Cech from the resulting cross. He's in line for a lengthy ban but he's signed off with a goal. You couldn't make it up!

Chelsea will be sick at letting in such a late goal and as Suarez laps up the acclaim he must know he'll get all the headlines for good and bad reasons.
