2. Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Nicky Barmby v Jimmy Bullard, in front of a packed Women's Institute meeting in East Yorkshire. Oh no, wait, that's not right.

3. For those who may have missed it, both Hull players were involved in an unseemly scrap in front of a delegation of WI members this week, with Phil Brown forced into a grovelling apology. Bullard starts, Barmby makes the bench.

4. Arsenal won't be affording themselves the luxury of a little chuckle though as they know a win by a margin of five goals will take them top of the Premier League. They come into the game following a 5-0 win over Porto.

5. Samir Nasri scored a remarkable goal in that game and he starts in place of the injured Cesc Fabregas again. Nicklas Bendtner's head expanded by a sizeable percentage after his hat-trick in Europe, can he prove as deadly in the league?

6. There is a certain amount of needle between these two teams after a scrap at Emirates Stadium earlier this season. That was sparked by Samir Nasri. We also had Phil Brown accusing Cesc Fabregas of spitting last season of course.

7. It is one of the great cliches of the Premier League that Arsenal struggle when travelling up north, and one supported by a fair amount of evidence. But the Gunners are huge favourites today and anything other than a win would be a huge shock.

8. Hull are in the bottom three and three points shy of safety following a win for Wolves at Burnley. With six wins in 15 months, Phil Brown's side are in real danger of relegation.

9. The players are streaming onto the pitch and we are close to kick off at the KC Stadium. My prediction? 3-1 Arsenal, with Arshavin bagging a couple.

10. Well if Arsenal are to win the league, they may have to win all of their remaining nine games, starting today. Will they bottle it? Let's see...

    KICK OFF! First impressions of the pitch are not favourable with markings from Rogby League games visible. That could work against Arsenal.

    The pitch opens up for Diaby as Arsenal keep the ball from kick-off but his through-ball for Nasri is too heavy and the Frenchman cannot collect.

    Nasri loses possession with a silly backheel. He obviously thinks he's Zinedine Zidane after that goal on Tuesday night.

    Bendtner flicks on a long free-kick from Clichy and forces Dawson into an emergency clearance. Arsenal cannot take advantage though.

    Jozy Altidore turns away from Sol Campbell all too easily and drives his shot across goal and wide. Sol looked shaky against Porto and Hull will definitely look to target him, rather than Vermaelen.

    Hull are set up in a conservative 4-4-2 formation and Arsenal have also opted for solidity by employing Emmanuel Eboue in front of Bacary Sagna. Still though, the game has been fairly open so far.

    Dean Marney is penalised for a foul on Sol Campbell and he did clatter into him a bit late.

    The Arsenal fans chant "there's only one Aaron Ramsey", a nod to the talented midfielder who is missing due to long-term injury.

    Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink runs onto a ball over the top but he looked suspiciously offside when attempting to get in behind Campbell and bend his run. Manuel Almunia gathers the ball.

    Hull have started to retain possession of the ball and have settled into this game. Bullard has been quiet though and much will depend on him.

    Vennegoor of Hesselink collects a pass from Jimmy Bullard but this time the big Dutchman is ruled offside, and rightly so.

    Andy Dawson drives a ball into the box and Hesselink attempts to control, but a combination of Vermaelen and Campbell allows Arsenal to bundle the ball clear, somewhat clumsily.

    There is nothing subtle about Hull's play - they are looking to go long to Vennegoor of Hesselink and why not? He is an effective target man.

    GOAL! Andrei Arshavin!

    The Russian genius collects the ball on the edge of the box, muscles his way past Bernard Mendy and George Boateng and produces a fine finish into the far corner. Superb from Arshavin.

    Arsenal win a corner and Thomas Vermaelen tries to flick the ball on, only to see it fly out. Tony Adams, that was not.

    Well let's see how Hull can respond to that early setback, I suspect it will be a struggle. Almunia is yet to be tested.

    Dean Marney flings in a deep cross from the right but Almunia is off his line quickly to claim the ball. Arsenal launch a counter-attack and Diaby sees his shot blocked.

    Vennegoor of Hesselink is offside again. I think they are already calling him the Dutch Filippo Inzaghi.

    Bacary Sagna whips in a dangerous cross from the right that draws Myhill off his line, but he cant grab the ball and Mendy turns behind for a corner. From the set piece, Vermaelen fails to convert at the far post.

    Dean Marney, having clattered Campbell earlier, now follows through on Vermaelen to concede another free-kick.

    Jimmy Bullard chips a deep free-kick into the box and Sol Campbell heads behind for a corner. From the set-piece, the ball bounces out to Bullard who lashes a volley well over from 25 yards.

    Emmanuel Eboue pulls out a lovely trick as he turns two players, but Craig Fagan is penalised for a pull on Sagna and Arsenal have a free-kick.

    Nasri crosses the ball into the box but Nicklas Bendtner produces a looping header that causes Myhill no problems whatsoever.

    Bullard takes a free-kick from 30-odd yards but his effort ricochets off the bottom of the wall. That was a waste.

    PENALTY FOR HULL!

    A lovely pass from Dean Marney as he flicks the ball into the path of Vennegoor of Hesselink, and he is felled by a clumsy challenge from Campbell.

    GOAL! An emphatic spot-kick from Jimmy Bullard as he slams it out of the reach of Almunia, who went the right way. 1-1.

    Arsene Wenger will not be happy as Vennegoor looked offside when Marney turned the ball into his path. It was poor defending from Campbell though, who picked up a yellow card for the challenge.

    Hull are suddenly full of belief and are pouring forward in search of a second. Vermaelen almost lays out Marney with a wild challenge but misses the man and ball.

    Bacary Sagna picks out Nicklas Bendtner with a superb cross from the right but, under pressure, the striker misses the ball entirely. Will he have another game like the Burnley one last weekend?

    There is an edge to this game with Clichy and Mendy both on the receiving end of a telling off from Andre Marrineri in recent minutes.

    Now Marriner has a word with Craig Fagan, who has committed a string of fouls. No booking for the forward as yet though.

    Diaby rises high to meet a free-kick from Nasri but there is no one at the back post to get on the end of his flick-on.

    Nasri has the chance to play in Arshavin after the ball falls kindly to him in the box, but his pass is behind the onrushing Russian, who hangs his head in disappointment.

    A goalmouth scramble ensues and Bendtner sees his shot blocked by Dawson. Arshavin then sends his follow-up effort well off target.

    Fagan does well to burst away from Sagna down the left wing but his cross lacks the velocity to trouble the Arsenal defence.

    Andy Dawson is shown a yellow card for a late, late tackle on Denilson. Wenger is predictably furious on the touchline.

    The fourth official alerts referee Marriner to an incident involving Boateng and Bendtner and both players are booked. Replays showed Boateng poked his opponent in the face, sparking a row.

    Lovely stuff from Emmanuel Eboue as he jinks inside Jimmy Bullard and slides a pass to Arshavin, but the Russian leans back and sends his shot over the bar.

    Diaby is hassled out of possession by a gang of Hull players but the home side cannot take advantage.

    Gael Clichy goes down in the box under contact from Bernard Mendy and replays show it was a good shout for a penalty. Clichy didn't help himself by not appealing though.

    Nasri flicks a lovely ball over the top but Arshavin cannot outmuscle his marker, Zayatte, to get to the ball. Myhill collects.

    RED CARD! George Boateng is shown a second yellow card for a horrible, horrible challenge on Sagna. It was high and on the knee.

    Boateng was arguably lucky to be on the pitch following his spat with Bendtner and that challenge on Sagna was worthy of a straight red. He has let his team down today.

    Arshavin lays the free-kick off to Vermaelen but his rifled effort comes off the wall. Honestly, how often do you actually score from a free-kick like that? The percentages are so small.

    HALF-TIME Hull came from behind thanks to a penalty from from Jimmy Bullard but they have lost George Boateng to a red card. Andrei Arshavin gave Arsenal the lead.

    How will Hull cope with just ten men? Well it looks as though Jozy Altidore has shifted wide to make it 4-4-1, with Vennegoor the lone striker.

    Vennegoor gets the better of Campbell once more but the ball runs wide and he canno get a shot away.

    Arshavin tries to scoop the ball into the path of Nasri, but Mouyokolo does well to shepherd the ball out of play and the chances goes for Arsenal. Good defending.

    Nasri has played well in the past few games but he hasn't been an adequate replacement for Fabregas today. He needs to do a bit more.

    Vennegoor is found offside yet again. He is in the Adebayor bracket at the moment.

    Sol Campbell clatters into Zayatte and while he wins the ball, he thumps into the player. Sol is on a booking and was pushing his luck a bit there. Zayatte requires treatment.

    Arsenal are the only club in the Premier League not to have had a player sent off, but a stricter ref might have ended that record there.

    Bullard takes the free-kick and fires it over the bar and wide from 25 yards. A waste.

    Now Vennegoor appeals for handball as Campbell cuts out a long ball, we will need replays to assess that one. It touched his arm but it certainly wasn't deliberate.

    Kamil Zayatte hasn't recovered from that Campbell challenge and the stretcher is coming on for the defender.

    Zayatte comes off and is replaced by the 18-year-old Liam Cooper.

    Arshavin dinks the ball to the back post but there is no one on the end of it. Arsenal are lacking a spark at the moment.

    A poor pass from Eboue sees Arsenal lose possession on the break. This is a big 30 minutes in Arsenal's season now.

    This is a fractious game now. Arshavin's arm catches Fagan in the face and Clichy is penalised for a foul on Vennegoor. You couldn't accuse Arsenal of lacking fight today, that is for sure.

    Arshavin's corner is headed clear by Hull and you get the feeling they will have to soak up a lot of pressure in what remains of the game. Campbell's shaky performance will give them hope though.

    In all honesty it is a bit of a scrappy game at the moment but Arsenal win a corner. Arshavin's delivery is headed off target by Campbell.

    Arsenal are readying Theo Walcott. This is the kind of game that could see him thrive (against inferior opposition).

    Eboue drills in a cross from the right but cannot beat the first man. The Tigers really have performed superbly with ten men.

    Jimmy Bullard blasts one over the bar but it gets the crowd going at the KC Stadium.

    Here is the change as Theo Walcott replaces Emmanuel Eboue. That should inject some impetus into a disappointing Arsenal side.

    Immediately, Walcott bursts into the box and squares for Nasri, who is guilty of a heavy touch. The ball rolls into the path of Arshavin who is guilty of a horrendous miss from eight yards as he scoops the ball well over the bar. Shocking, and he did something similar against Porto.

    Nasri loses possession in midfield and Arsenal have really missed the suspended Alex Song today. They have lacked presence in midfield.

    A loose pass from Arshavin gifts possession back to Hull and it is another sloppy moment from the Gunners. They famously lost 2-1 a home to Hull last season, could another shock be on the cards?

    Walcott has another run at the Hull defence and wins a corner. Arsenal take it quickly but Arshavin's cross is blocked. Hull were asleep then.

    A good chance falls to Nicklas Bendtner. A Clichy cross is not dealt with by the Hull defence and bounces to Bendtner, who hooks his volley over the bar. That was tricky.

    Hull make a change as Vennegoor is replaced by Richard Garcia.

    Diaby does excellently to keep a Theo Walcott pass in play, but then overelaborates and is robbed of the ball. That just about encapsulates him as a player, really.

    Walcott gains possession in the box and slips a square pass to Arshavin but Mendy sticks a foot in to keep the ball away from the Russian.

    Nasri is replaced by Eduardo, meaning Arshavin could move inside. The Frenchman failed to live up to his recent high standards.

    Walcott races onto a lovely pass from Arshavin but takes the wrong option and skims it along the ground instead of cutting back for Bendtner. Mendy intercepts and boots the ball clean out of the ground.

    Bendtner charges onto a fine cross-field pass from Eduardo but Mendy does superbly to deal with the danger and a goal-kick is awarded.

    Arsenal work it well around the box and when Walcott feeds Bendtner, he takes ages to line up a shot, allowing Cooper to get a block in. That should have been a goal.

    Bendtner swings in a cross from the right and when Arshavin cuts the ball back for Walcott, the England international can only stick out a leg and send his shot wide.

    Kamil Zayatte has appeared on crutches and initial reports suggest he could miss the remainder of the season. That is bad news for Hull.

    The Tigers make a change as Kevin Kilbane replaces Jozy Altidore. Clearly Hull will be happy with a point now, and they deserve one having produced a resolute performance with ten men.

    Arshavin attempts to go it alone instead of finding a team-mate and loses possession. Myhill has hardly had a save to make in the second half. This could be the day on which Arsenal's title challenge died.

    Eduardo releases Walcott with a stunning through-ball but Cooper anticipates it and produces a brilliant interception. Fine football all round.

    In the last ten minutes of Premier League games this season, Hull have conceded the most goals and Arsenal have scored the most. Interesting.

    Arsenal attempt to launch a counter-attack from a Hull corner but it loses all momentum when Bendtner floats a pass out to the right, allowing Marney to intercept and clear.

    Bendtner falls over in the box and is in fact penalised for a foul on Mendy. This is getting desperate for Arsenal now.

     Arsenal are starting to hit it long, which is never a good sign for the London side. Just a few minutes left including injury time.

     Campbell charges down a shot from Marney as Hull look for a late winner.

     Arshavin swings it in from the right and Myhill punches clear. Walcott picks up the loose ball but his cross doesn't find a red shirt.

     We will have six minutes of injury time, largely due to the injury suffered by Zayatte.

     Arsenal continue to take the aerial route by looking to find Bendtner, with the away side faced with a wall of gold shirts.

     Clichy tests Myhill with an effort from the edge of the box and despite a lack of practice throughout the half, the goalkeeper gathers with ease.

     Denilson blasts a shot from all of 30 yards and Myhill flaps at it, allowing Bendtner to turn home the rebound. I'm afraid that was poor goalkeeping.

     Arsenal left it late against Stoke as well and this could be a huge result in the title race if Arsenal can hang on.

     If Bendtner scores the winner tonight, imagine how big his head will be. It's a great week for the Dane though after his hat-trick against Porto.

     FULL TIME That's it! Nicklas Bendtner's late, late goal settles the game in favour of Arsenal, and they go joint top with Chelsea. What a finish. Myhill was culpable for the goal and Hull probably deserved a point after playing so well following the dismissal of Boateng.
