Tottenham Hotspur – Manchester City

1. Join us at 2000 GMT to see the battle for the top four take off as Tottenham play host to Man City.

2. Hello and welcome to the live commentary for tonight's game at White Hart Lane.

3. No surprises in the Tottenham line-up. There's no place for David Bentley on the bench, but the recovering Luka Modric is named among the subs again.

4. City are taking an attacking approach with Adebayor, Tevez and Robinho all starting and Stephen Ireland available to support the forwards when needed.

5. City have, of course, become draw specialists in recent weeks, while Spurs have been far more unpredictable.

6. City are without both Wayne Bridge and Joleon Lescott, so it's Sylvinho and Nedum Onuoha providing a mixture of experience and youtyh in their absence.

7. The teams are coming out onto the pitch in front of a packed stadium at White Hart Lane.

8. This match will be viewed as an important match in terms of both sides' top-four ambitions this season and the game is likely to be played at a high pace.
