Chelsea – Liverpool

1. Hello and welcome to the second huge game of the day. City produced a great comeback against Spurs earlier, meaning Chelsea are under pressure to get a result today to send them back up to second in the table.

2. Chelsea team: Cech, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Terry, Bertrand, Ramires, Mikel, Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Torres.

3. Liverpool: Jones, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Carragher, Wisdom, Allen, Gerrard, Sahin, Suarez, Sterling.

4. John Terry returns from his suspension for Chelsea while David Luiz is ruled out with tonsillitis. Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard are both still out with injuries.

5. Glen Johnson returns from injury, while Martin Skrtel is out with a virus. Suso makes way as Jamie Carragher comes in, with Liverpool looking to line up with five at the back.

6. Chelsea subs: Turnbull, Ferreira, Cahill, Romeu, Marin, Moses, Sturridge. Liverpool subs: Gulacsi, Cole, Assaidi, Henderson, Coates, Downing, Suso.

7. Howard Webb will be the man in charge of today's game. He has produced just one red card this season, to Wigan's Jordi Gomez.

8. Chelsea got back to winning ways against Shakhtar Donetsk in midweek, while Liverpool have gone four games without a win.

9. The teams have made their way out of the tunnel and are forming a guard of honour for representatives of the armed forces.

    Allen concedes possession cheaply and Hazard plays in Oscar on goal but he just fails to keep his shot down. A real chance there.

    Mata sends a delightful ball into the box but Hazard is unable to get his head to it.

    Chelsea doing well to break with numbers at speed early on. They look dangerous and are stretching the Liverpool defence.

    Azpilicueta tries to force a ball in from the right-hand side but Enrique does well to see it out for a goal kick.

    Torres tries to go on a mazy run. He beats one but his touch then lets him down.

    Chelsea break through Torres who finds Mata. He tries to play a ball across goal but Liverpool just manage to scramble it away.

    Liverpool have had 68% possession so far to Chelsea's 32%. The away side have probably started the game the brighter but the home side have by far looked the most threatening.

    Sterling does well to win a header against Terry but Ramires is there to help his captain out.

    Liverpool have lost their way a bit since the goal. It's Chelsea who look the more likely to grab another.

    Allen gives the ball way to Mata who pours forward and picks out Hazard. The Belgian tries to play it back to Mata but Jones is able to get there first.

    Sahin tries a speculative effort at goal but sends it just wide.

    Sterling does well to turn away from Bertrand and Torres before the Spaniard brings him down.

    Liverpool still with the majority of possession but they just haven't looked threatening at all.

    Suarez appeared to take out Terry there as he tumbled to the ground. Terry is down and in a lot of pain.

    Mata with a great chance to put his side 2-0 up. Oscar took advantage of a Liverpool mistake to play in the Spaniard on goal. He knocke it past Wisdom before firing it over the bar. Should have hit the target.

    Not a classic. Liverpool have seen a fair bit of the ball but have been pretty lacklustre going forward. Chelsea haven't been at their best but have looked dangerous at times, especially on the break. Mata should really have put them 2-0 up.

     Wisdom does well to win the ball in midfield and picks out Suarez. He plays it back to Wisdom who wins the corner off Ivanovic.

     A point each was probably about right tonight. Chelsea appeared to be well on top but Liverpool did well to fight back and grab an equaliser, with Suarez netting his eighth Premier League goal of the season. The European champions lose ground on the two Manchester clubs at the top of the table.
